Player Dejan Kulusevski

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

What’s kulu stats this season with goals and assist? For one our 3 attacking players he needs to be in double figures otherwise there is no point playing him. The system we have adopted all season basically relies on him to create and chip in with goals. As we have had royal most of the time who offers no assists on the rwb and we are supposed heavily reliant on the WBs for creativity / crossing.

Premier League: 2 goals, 6 assists. 8 goal contributions in total
1 assist in the cup as well.

So he's not far off double digits.

I don't think Kukusevski is a problem and really hope we secure his signature.

Should not be starting at present and definitely should not start on Sunday, where Richarlison's aggression and greater agility might help what is going to be a lost cause.

A proper manager/coach will hopefully get the best or much more from the Swede.

His best position would be centrally behind a striker in a 4-2-3-1 or in behind two strikers in a 3-5-2. I think the game would be more open for him and would find players making runs in behind. He’d also be bigger goal threat from central.
Nothing to support this complete conjecture on your part. But you're right, we should re-arrange the whole formation and tactical plan for a player that bombed at Juve, had a questionable few month purple patch based SOLELY on shiny objects, and is now showing the exact nothingness he was at Juve for almost a full season. This sounds like a sweet plan.
I totally agree with this. A new manager and style could see deki and sonny for that matter flourish again.
...or he could not. Amazing how things can just be 50-50 like that.
You're always only as good as your last game sadly.
It's been ~30 games this season...way to minimize the completely valid criticism of a player that's done nothing this year and for only a few months in the last almost 3 years...all because a player on your national team isn't as good as you pumped him up to be. You'll be wrong again...but will you be as mouthy in your mea culpa as you are in your defense of this player? I'm betting not...and I'll be right again.

...well, I do think you are wrong but I also think that unfortunately you'll get your wish...but not because it's a good idea...more because we are Daniel Levy's Spurs. Either way, bookmarking for a later re-visit.

My super and heightened perception skills tell me you are not Kulusevski's biggest fan..

It's not about me, is it? It seems your perception skills need recalibrating as they are pointing your towards...

...and that the point of contention is who I may or may not be a fan of.

Why don't you use your perception skills to let me know how you think Kulu will fare against Dan Burn this wknd? Surely, he'll be able to get the best of a 6'7" LB, right? And while doing so show us that he is not a problem and should be retained...right?

He is likely starting on the bench and Son will be against Dan Burn, with Danjuma on the left.

In terms of attacking Dan Burn 1v1, I'd have my money on Kulu going past him more times than Son.

Good sign is that it's almost May and this player's loan hasn't been picked up and we seem to be waiting on conditions of a compulsory buy. That suggests taht either DL wants the player at a renegotiated price (which, of course he does) or we are not desirous of making this deal perm. Either way it's reasonable to conclude that the club doesn't view this player's work as positively as the mindless happy clappers in this thread else matters would have been handled already. Hopefully that Roma/Jose visit was an indication.

" Tottenham will automatically trigger their £31million mandatory purchase option if Kulusevski plays in 50 per cent of Spurs' Premier League matches (at least 45 minutes) this season and additionally, Spurs qualify for the Champions League."

About to save 31m from not getting top 4
