Sarr needs to start getting some time in that 6 role because his time will be limited in a double 8/10 system- he’s not 10- he’s 8/6 if anything. I think he can be a fine 6 as he grows into his body so I hope he doesn’t get typecast as an 8. As he’s still young it makes sense to evaluate him there rather than Bissouma or Bentancur long-term. Alongside Gray it would seem to be a good pair of talents to play there in the future.

He’s a bit like Grealish in that he has technical ability but not short burst acceleration so he can drift past one man sometimes, but often can’t stay past him so has to hurry the next action, and invariably fucks it up.

I get that most dribbly guys come with flaw built in, but he’s got too many for me.

Pace can be a deal breaker but it doesn’t have to be.
His brain works fast enough to be where he needs to be before pace is needed.
Pretty confident he will get more G/As than last year playing this new role.
 
Needs to learn to start getting some lift on his shots. His 2 giant scoring chances in the last 2 games were both saved by the keepers feet.

It’s obviously harder than it seems but he’s not a comfortable finisher and needs to get better in that area. Seems like he has great character though and I’m sure he’ll improve.
