Wolves after that (and who knows with a new coach/bounce?) and then Newcastle who we should beat at home but are decent, and then after an FA and league cup tie you've got a trip to Goodison and the Emirates. Given where we currently are in the table that could be a real make or break run of fixtures.

We'll end up with a minimum of 15 league defeats this season

Unless we either win or lose every game , I can't really see us being anywhere decent with that

There is no way to call any of these games TBH - with everyone's form being so up and down literally no results would surprise me.

If we had a few more players available id be a little more hopeful for the game on Sunday - they have only picked up 2 points form their last 2 and conceded 5 - there hasn't been a better time to play Liverpool this season IMHO - but we are just on bare bones and I just cant see us having the energy to win this and still have what we need left in the tank for the rest of the xmas period.

Newcastle were a couple adjustments away from a win against them so yeah, far from impossible at home. Hard to gauge off the Fulham game due to going down to ten so early.

Me too. Why I prefer Maddison. Consistently produces more goods, consistently more influence on games.

Bournemouth? Because Kulusevski was good in that one? Chelsea Kulusevski was atrocious, saw the ball 9 fucking times. And then then there's the year and a half Kulusevski went awol. Has Maddison ever gone awol for a year and a half?

Yes about 20 times more consistent, you can't argue against someone who is nicknamed the Swedish Marradona and one of the best players to ever step foot on a football pitch, best winger and midfielder at the club quite comfortably.

Why can't we like them both equally?

On their day they are both nearly unplayable. Both can also tend to go missing in games.

They both have unique strengths when compared to each other, and are both, currently contributing to the team in terms of goals and assists.

He kind of did play false 9 vs United, he certainly wasn't a touchline-hugging RW. It was more:

Forster
Dragusin Gray
Porro Bissouma Spence
Sarr Solanke Maddison
Kulusevski Son​

Spence and Porro provided most of the attacking width, with Son tucking in to more of a 10, and both Maddison and Solanke dropping back frequently to provide an outlet.

Spence / Maddison / Son and Solanke combined well to create overloads in the inside left channel, targeting Lindelof/Yoro.

I understand what you are saying, but I would say that formation is more showing the primary movement of the front three. Solanke is pretty much always dropping deep a bit to help buildup play through the middle, Kulu is trying to receive ball over the top right and then cut into center of box, and Son is somewhat doing the same thing, though perhaps a bit more likely to take it to the endline than Kulu.

Both Maddison and Sarr drop deep when we play it out of the back on whatever side is pressured to help with buildup and to be the press.

For me I see the formation pretty much as advertised:
