He is the absolute definition of inconsistent. Inconsistent within most games - ie can have good moments but then go awol or be totally dogshit for the rest of the game, inconsistent over a number of games - ie ok/good one game then meh or dogshit for one, two or more games, inconsistent over his whole career - ie good at Parma, then shit at Juve, good for first six months here, then shit for the next 12 months, then patchy since.
Calling him "consistent" is nearly as wrong as when someone called him "fast and direct" or a "genius".
I don't have a problem with people who call him inconsistent if you're comparing him to other top players in the league, I do have a problem though with people who think he's less consistent with certain other players who are laughably inconsistent to the point where I just think you're just stubborn and won't change your mind despite the evidence presented to you on a weekly basis no matter what.
Also there's not many consistent players in our team this season, calling him the most consistent player is like saying he's the best of a bad bunch.
