Player Dejan Kulusevski

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

most frustrating player going at the minute. bundles of talent and ability but his decision making at times is awful, hangs onto it too long when theres passes to get out etc. under a proper manager and a proper coaching set up with some proper drilling this kid could be an absolute force.

Kulu and Porro have played about the same minutes.

20% more than the player in third.

He needs a rest.

I thought he was terrible today!! His goal
Is class but still looks jaded and gave the ball away far too much. I’ve always liked him but he’s been flogged all season and is still getting flogged when at this moment he doesn’t need to be

Kulustinkski.

Owes us 10 more of those goals for the pong he's been emanating.
It never ceases to amaze me how some of our players can stink the place out for weeks and then have a great individual moment and then be forgiven for the next 7 or 8 weeks of under achievement. I guess that that great finish has earned Kulu a reprieve for a couple of months. The reality is that he needs to be much more consistent.

Dejan Kulusevski opens up on the demands of playing every game for Tottenham

In a recent interview with Sky Sports, the Swedish winger shed light on the physical toll of playing every match and revealed that he has often had to operate at just 40% of his energy levels due to fatigue.

He said: “It’s difficult, of course, because first of all, it’s too many games. You go out and play some games where you feel 40/50%, and that’s not how it’s supposed to be.

“But then also, like you said, if you have injuries and you don’t have enough players, then it really gets difficult. So, of course, it’s annoying because, in the end, you just want to play football on normal terms, you know? But you can’t do that, so you just try to do your best, and you try to use your brain more.

“Like I said before, when I notice that I can’t run up the field like I want every game, then I need to stop and start thinking more. Maybe I can save my energy here. Maybe I can try to keep the ball much more in this situation. So, you start to use your brain to keep energy.”
