Player Dejan Kulusevski

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Shows how important Kulu was for us in attack considering how poor we have been in our previous four PL games. We haven't scored in three of those, and relied on a penalty and lucky goal to steal a draw.

I was told by Bus Conductor earlier this season that key passes is a useless stat. Deki led the league in it for a good deal this season. We certainly could have used some more key passes these past 6-10 games.

Exactly.
He offers so much more than simply G/A in matches. We're better off utilising Kulu more rather than the majority of our players, though he does deserve constructive criticism in games he plays poor in.

Personally, I think Kulu has had some brilliant performances in a season, which has been a car crash. You can only imagine this team, and specifically Kulu under a different coach, as what these players need is a coach, not a car salesman as their manager.

The majority of these players have been held back immensely due to tactics. The fact Kulu has excelled at times really shows his flexibility and quality around the pitch.

“Another couple of weeks”, how many fucking times does Ange use this line? it was a couple of weeks a couple of weeks ago. And a couple of weeks a week ago and so on and so forth.

It’s so clear that he’s embarrassed to be honest about injury timelines as they reflect so poorly on his management. Just like all the hamstrings, Deki’s stress fracture has been brought on by overuse and improper rest, so he continually bluffs that these players are “7-10 days or “still sore” or “1-2 weeks away” even though he knows it’s bollocks.

If he was honest from the start and said “Deki will be out with a stress fracture for 8 weeks” he’d probably have been sacked. Anything to make it seem like these injuries are not down to him.

Honestly, and I could re-post this in every current player thread, given the, er, quality of our coaching and manager, I find it very difficult to properly judge any of our players at the moment...

Friday 11th - Ange on Dejan Kulusevski's fitness...

"He’s trained today with the team, well with the guys who didn’t play last night and he is looking good. He won’t be available for Sunday obviously but the plan is for him to train through the weekend, train with the first-team from the beginning of the week and if he gets through that, he’ll definitely be available for Thursday. Again, unlikely to start because he’s been out for a while but he looks really good."
