May 11:
'He should be OK, [I was] just talking to him. The medical team are not too concerned, more of a [knee] knock than anything else, so we're hoping he should be OK.'
May 12:
'He's still sore with his knee. It looks like a knock at this stage, but we're going to let it settle for 24 hours, then assess it. The initial thought was that it's more of a knock than anything more significant.'
May 14:
'We can confirm that Dejan suffered an injury to his right patella... Following further specialist consultation, the midfielder has undergone surgery today, and will commence his rehab with our medical staff immediately.'
May 15:
'It’s obviously disappointing news. Initially, we thought it wasn’t too serious... the medical team were worried about how the knee was structurally, but it seemed pretty good. But then it kind of blew up a day after, and so we knew there was an issue there. He’s had surgery, and it will put him out at least for a few months.'
May 15:
'Me putting a timeframe on wouldn't be right because he only had the surgery yesterday. We'll get some more information, and a lot of that just depends on how players progress. It's fair to say months, but how many months I wouldn't speculate at the moment.'
June 11:
'It’s great, I’m ahead of schedule and can start walking now. It’s been a few months since I’ve been on the sidelines. It’s early, but we’ll see [if I can be back in September].'
July 19:
'I don’t like to put a timeline on it. Put it this way, he’s not ready for the first game of the season.'
Aug 22:
'Kulusevski is out. It's a longer one. I don't want to put a time frame on it.'
Sept 06:
'The status is good. The rehab is going well. I will be on a football pitch in the very, very near future. If everything goes, as it should, as it has so far, I'm very confident that I will be on the pitch in two to three months.'
Sept 23:
'He's a key, key player for us. Instead of putting an exact month on [his return]. I just want him back as quick as possible. I know the medical team and Dejan are working very hard on that... It's not tomorrow, hopefully not too far away.'
Oct 31:
'Deki is still not on the grass. We're working very hard to get him fit as quickly as possible.'
Dec 04:
'When they are ready to be close to joining the squad, then I will provide an update.'
Dec 08:
'Yeah, as I said, I will confirm when he's available for the squad. It's part of the recovery. There’s a plan for everything.'
Jan 08:
'The most important thing is to remove the pain in the knee. He had an injection to help that 10 days ago. We will know in 3-4 weeks if that has settled.'

So within 3 days he was in the hands of a (presumably external) specialist and was operated on a day later.

This place is overwhelmed by a constant flow of performative outrage.

Well... I mean it is understandable in psychological terms, is it not ? :)

Lack of knowledge and constant delays of recovery create frustration. If it would have been said in mid-May that he is unlikely to return before end of Feb, it would have been different story. Also the pics of him already training on grass few months ago gave hope to many (including myself). And just now another delay frustrates.

We are human beings and not everything is rational.
Specially if all that happens in total whirlwind of fecal matters o_O

I think the medical department needs an overhaul as well.

Maybe this whole club needs to fold and rebuild again.
Just goes how far Levy ran us into the ground with his decision making.

Always said it's going up take years to sort this mess out.

I have written this season off, maybe the next one too...

It's why I'll give the Lewis's a couple of years to see if the can sort this mess out.

Spurs need new owners if ENIC's ambition is anything less than to win everything.

Compromising now is not what the Spurs supporters should be doing.

The pressure needs to be increased on ENIC to pony up for top players and managers or sell up to an entity that will.

Can't believe Spurs supporters stating on the forum that they will accept a lack of ambition after 25 years of exactly that.

We need to stick together and fight to get new owners if ENIC 2.0 are continuity LevySpurs.

Mere frustration & disappointment is still a few steps removed from the the kind of bile that's been spat over the matter.

It's not Frank's fault; nor is it his fault the suggested return time is shifting backwards.

.....And re: our med. team; there's no evidence to suggest that it's their fault that he needed surgery... Nor that his recovery is slower than estimated. The oft. repeated complaint that they should have diagnosed surgery quicker is utter rubbish too.

Far too many people are insistent that there be a villain at the root of every single situation that is not to their liking.

Cant wait to watch turtle ruin every counter attack with his lack of speed and inability to take a man on and result on turning around and passing it backwards and then once in a blue moon turn up against the likes of wolves and score a brace to pad his stats
