Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

From a nastily cynical point of view, we are much better off if he's forced to retire and we collect a bumper insurance payout, compared to if he comes back but is nowhere close to Premier League level. But either way I feel so sorry for the bloke. One bad tackle and it can all be over in an instant.

PL football is brutal and played at a ridiculous speed. A fully recovery whilst reaching a good enough level will be extremely difficult. One of the biggest parts of his game was his relentless pressure on opponents and ground coverage but we ain't even going to get that back.

Back to Italy at best. Poor kulu, his career getting taken from him.

Knowing kulu and his attitude i really dont think he will retire. He will play on but not at pl level.

Sounds like Ledley's issue. I doubt they've made any major breakthroughs in the last decade. Stems cells won't work since it's not cell-based, or so I think. It really does sound like he's either fucked or on the receiving end of a major breakthrough in knee surgery.

Got injured in a game he shouldn't have even played as well.
One last parting gift from Ange, potentially ending the career of our best attacking player. Frank was awful here and never helped himself with his terrible interviews, but I didn't dislike him as a person. I actively dislike that fat fucking charlatan and the lasting damage he did to this club.

The Swedish physio's interview does make it sound like they don't expect him to play again, at least not at the level he was at pre-injury. This unfortunately feels like a situation where we keep him under contract out of loyalty, and he'll retire once the deal is up. Maybe he'll eventually recover enough to play at a lower level.

Zero point in discussing Kulusevski further without any authoritative update - we might get some indication from the club when the squad to go on preseason is announced (likely late June/early July), but no reason to expect anything before then unless its good news such as him training with first team (we wish .... but sounds unlikely)

Did Ange kick him in the knee or something?

I would think that the medic from the Sweden national team, who he's closely working with, and says he's in constant dialogue with, is very much an authoritive update. And the clearest update we've had since he's been injured, quite frankly.

He's the first manager in history to play a player when they have a slight knock, apparently. Also told the medical staff that told him he absolutely can't play, to go fuck themselves, and beat them with a 6er of Foster's.

Ange had his flaws, obviously, but some of the rhetoric on here is embarrassing. There's not a premier league player that's sat out with a slight knock at least a few times, and if they did, this forum would be feral, like a player missing because they were on antibiotics for example. This is the same medical staff that cleared James Maddison without surgery for a partial ACL and proceeded to rupture it almost immediately.
