Straight jacket because statistically he’s elite 1v1 defensively.

I don’t really this wing back playing Fb thing. Hes played more senior minutes at FB than he has WB. Hes not really the type to go wide and whip in crosses. His strengths are 1v1 defensively, ball carrying and close control in tight central areas and an unbelievable engine. Incredible recovery pace.

His weaknesses right now are concentration and positioning defensively. Those will improve with age but his strengths perfectly fit the way he’s asked to play and his weaknesses would get exposed even more in a team that had less possession and wanted to play wing back on the counter

His weaknesses is he’s an utter shite passer,can’t or won’t cross and has zero pride in defending. He can sprint forward but can only jog back. His lack of desire this season has been very noticeable.

At the start of last season he was flying and now looks like he couldn’t give a fuck.

Don't agree. Actually put in some decent low crosses today. Don't really see it with the zero pride in defending either and the stats show he's amongst the very best in the PL defending 1v1s.

Again, today he looked like he gave a shit.

Get rid of the clown coach start actually coaching patterns that make sense. Instil pride in keeping clean sheets. Drill movements in blocks, offensive defensive in possession out of possession. Instill forfeits for turning over possession in your own third. Institute a rigorous program of tactical periodisation keyed to our seasons predetermined goals. Get some actual expertise in and a proper modern football identity. This isn't a progressive coach we have it's a blagger. Don't judge the players till then.
