I don’t need players and staff clapping us at games. Fuck that,do your job which is to give everything in the game and create and score goals. I'm less certain about this, partly because I think we have a lot of bodies there and I don't see the club being willing to stockpile more unless we get some shifted, which will be difficult to do whilst they are not showing anything of value for us. Partly because I don't trust the club to identify and go out and actually get players that are definitely of a higher calibre than those we currently have, however easy we might suggest it should be.
Mainly though, because as it stands, I don't think it matters all that much if we do go out and get unquestionable upgrades, the way we are playing there's every chance those players would come in and also provide F-all, as they simply won't see the ball or any opportunities to capitalise on.
It's really easy to look at the current bunch and write them of as hopeless, but the reality is they aren't fluffing situation after situation or chance after chance. We're so passive, slow, and disjointed looking that they're feeding off scraps. I'm not kidding myself into thinking that they're all great, but I don't think they're near as bad as they are being made to look by whatever it is that the team is stepping onto the pitch trying to achieve.
Any player coming into the side to change things around would have to be an absolute superstar to actually manage it.
Players must take responsibility. When they go over that white line they have to do more to create and win a game of football. Nobody including the manager will have a go at them for trying to do that so for me that tells me that the players are not good enough or don’t have a set of balls to go and make things happen.
We was desperate for another LB, and upgrade to Udogie, not because I dislike him, but because that is what you should be looking for.
Agree. It has got fucking silly now. Just get down the tunnel so we can get home. If it is a big game sure or a wonderful result then sure. But if not, lets not bother.

Lip reading rumour suggesting Spence told Frank to go away, hence the look from the manager....if true one of them is on borrowed time.

I still have no idea what our system was on Saturday , it felt like Spence was playing on his own down the left , never anybody up the line for him , totally bizarre .

We've got Xavi and Spence on the left who are totally right footed. There's no balance and attacks come to die on our left side.

In the press conference Frank did a good job of calming things down, pretty much saying that Djed & Micky had come to him and apologised. Time will tell if he's really as understanding of their behaviour as he professes to be.
He deflected the incident fairly well agreed and whether or not his words resemble the fly on the wall version we shall have to wait and see.
His explanation though might backfire if the fans take umbrage at the players having a strop over the booing.
I save my booing for the opposition and officials not because I think those who do it don't have the right to vent as they see fit, more to do with I have never been convinced it has a positive effect on eliciting better efforts from the players.
One thing that has to change is the nonsensical lap of thanks after a shit performance which is imo asking for trouble.
