Player Djed Spence

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

He was the only real positive I took from pre season. Fucking saved post's arse tonight. Great determination for the equaliser. Stop doing him dirty and start getting him on the pitch.

I don’t know if the guy has attitude issues behind the scenes. Ability wise he is top draw. Was in pre season as well. Needs to be used at least until we have better players.

I do think LB is the place for him at the moment. He’s not ready to pass Udogie but he’s an alternative.

Porro is one of the first names on the team sheet. I’m not really into rah rah guys but he’s one of my favorites and I feel he inspires the team.

He plays with spunk unlike BJ

Plays like he gives a shit. That makes him a starter straight away in my book.

I was having a glance at the squad for the EL earlier. Why isn't he on it? Is it a rule thing? I don't get why we have four goalkeepers listed.

he has 2 high quality fullbacks to compete with unfortunately for him. hopefully het gets more league starts though if we put out starting 11 teams in the europa which we need to do

He is a wing back by trade starting to think he might be our most suitable 1 v 1 winger as he can actually beat a player. Odobert out we have no other 1 v 1 guy.

"Main".

Bentancur was also involved in both goals despite overall being shite but Deki and Spence's efforts were immediately noticeable. IMO.

Maddison was also involved in both goals (it was his great first time ball to Kulusevski for the first goal and he was pressing with Bentancur for the second.

It was Maddison coming on which finally gave us someone who was showing for the ball and trying to make something happen that changed that game way more than the others you mention. Spence and Kulusevski combined well for the first goal but apart from that Kulusevski didn't offer much. Like Sunday, one good moment and otherwise meh, but I'd still rather him out there against a deep block than Johnson (who took his goal very well).

Also, whoever says that this guy isn't commited can fuck off.
The thick and credulous ones on this forum will just go silent till they can find some other imaginative crime he has committed, (perhaps it's the plaits or something else?). If Ange don't rate or think he can be an asset it tells how much as a coach Postecoglou still has to learn. Amid a few frankly bizzare and irrational decisions Spence Europa league exclusion just screams people who lack basic job competence. His drive commitment and simple refusal to not get beat by fucking Coventry embarrassed his venerated colleagues.
