He has, just back from a groin injury I believe.
Ange says it's always in players hands if they play. However Grey has been chosen over Spence on almost every occasion this season despite Spence clearly the better fullback. His injury didn't help though.
Gray has only been started over Djed once this season against Coventry. All the other times Djed has been either injured or not registered.
Don't think I will ever understand him not making the squad for Europe. One to think wow wtf went on there when U look back on it
I don't think Ange particularly rates him. He has given him one meaningful appearance which was against Coventry. I think the contract extension was just to preserve value, just a bookkeeping exercise.

Ange is an idiot- can't even apparently see the value of rotating Spence in for Porro every so often.
We'll play our 40m 6 as a RB and use our recently extended RB to play LB! Then we'll have our junior RCB play at LCB, and all our "world class" players can stay comfortable in their natural positions.
Does this sound like a good strategy at all? No

That's stupid. Porro is not a great defender. Djed is a physical specimen.
Porro may not be a great defender but he’s a good one and certainly better than our left back defensively
Udogie is a better natural defender than Porro- Ange just has him playing idiotic tactics.
Anyways I don't agree with your general point. I don't think Porro is even a "good" defender. He's very average, and if his offensive skills weren't so good, he'd look an awful lot like Reguilon.
Really- you don't think Spence could have improved on either Udogie or Spence this past weekend vs Ipswich Town?
He wasn't even deserving of late sub minutes in the wake of their very poor performances?
No fullbacks will be a good defender in this system, how can you be? We basically play 2 at the back when we have the ball and the fullbacks have no chance of getting back.into.position if we lose the ball
I agree with that- but why would that mean Spence can't get some minutes at either RB or LB though? Surely Udogie and Porro were worthy of being subbed off vs Ipswich, no?
Look i don't disagree, and I'm hoping now fit that Djed will get his chances.
The RWB/LWB role under Ange, is the most physically demanding of all the positions imo. I like the way both Porro and Udogie push up and in plus overlap but I'd like to see us invest in another top flight left back come January and have 2 pairs, Porro/Udogie. Spence/? and rotate the pairs every couple of games. Recently both Udogie and Porro look dead on their feet to me.
