Play Djed right- this inverted shit is an aberration. Djed and Udog are a proper set of FBs fit for the Prem. Porro should be played against weaker sides to pick them apart with his good passing and deliveries. At the least it should be a more even split. Djed is getting the short end of the stick right now.
This is infuriating me. Its like they can't see through the performative Porro act. Mind you the fanbase can't. Play Spence ( who needs to be coached by the way and the occasional rocket) at Rightback and let him learn, Pochettino would make him incredible. Sell Porro buy the best leftback we can get and stop messing up Spence's development.
Djed playing inverted full back has legit given us another attacking weapon and is causing overloads in the middle of the pitch.

To me, all three can be very good, but are inconsistent. Spence is probably the best, or at least a good Spence game makes you think he has the highest ceiling of the three.

Against Slavia Praha it worked. Against better teams it’s not been all that effective.

Worked against Brentford as well and TBH at least we have an attacking platform against the smaller teams we need to dominate now, we didn't have that before.
We haven't inverted him this way before man, It supprised me a few of the Pods also were laughing and saying Frank freaked people out by trying something he'd not done at Spurs. Harris at the Athletic might have said he did something similar at Brentford. Windy said he's giving him more time just because he proved he can experiment .

This is the first time I've seen him so far infield and high up the pitch, he was popping up as a 10 and sometimes would find himself in the box
I think we do need a LB but Spence playing this role is a legit weapon because of his ball carrying - seems like he isn't the only manager deploying this tactic, Maresa and Arteta also use their full backs as box crashers.
Yeh I agree it's a positive but why has he only started to do it recently? Prior to the last 2 games he wasn't doing it.
He's not done it before Brentford.

Spence is 25, one year younger than Porro.
And he"s a better defender at all aspects of the game and as you say a whole year younger. Porro will not improve he lacks the physicality pace and awareness. Nice cross and shot though. Its not even close id sell him in a heartbeat.
