I’ve been watching Danso pinning Porro to the sideline with a man a yard away since we bought him.
So many balls pinged to Kulu (or Kudus this season) without a supporting player within 10 yards.
All of these ‘a completed progressive pass’.
I don’t disagree that several of our players hold the ball waaaaay too long and have little end product.
At least 2 1/2 seasons of the same basic eye-rolling dross.

Think Spence is exactly what he is. An average premier league who cost us less than £10m like 4 years ago or so.
The fact he’s starting week in, week out is concerning and indicative of where we are as a Club.

The club is run by a non football clique who value 'image' and delusions of grandeur over actual ability as a player or a coach.
This perfect storm of mediocrity is the personification of the man responsible for assembling this shit squad and pairing them up with a bang average manager, who finished no higher than 9th in the Premier League, before he arrived; on a shoestring budget @ a BTECH club, (see what I did there?).
Thomas Frank looked like the type of person Daniel Levy could manipulate into doing the things a serious manager would never agree to.
Spurs is clearly the best Thomas Frank will ever do.
Likewise; Thomas Frank is clearly the worst Spurs manager, we have ever had, since the 1940's.
This squad of players is not far off that level either.
The treatment of Djed Spence is a shocking indictment on the culture at THFC under these fucking losers.
Spence is a winner who actually has some pride in his performance to match up with his obvious ability.
Cannot get a game, in his natural position, in this useless fucking team, behind an absolute wanker like Pedro fucking Porro.
Porro is not fit to clean Djed's boots in terms of overall ability to defend and attack as a Premier League right back.
Because Porro will be a 'popular' member, of the dressing room personality clique, that have seen off multiple managers, Spence has to be 'patient' and be used as a 'utility' man to fill in for the lame, the useless and the mediocre.
Thomas Frank is too weak to address the issues in this team.
We are being led into oblivion by selfish players, who Conte rightly dug out as playing for themselves, with no team ethic and weak leadership.

Lot of very odd people fixated on imaginary issues. The management of Spence has been absurd cheered on by people who seem triggered by stuff that is deeply uncomfortable.
The club generally feels stuck between its past an inability to encourage the intrest and participation of young people, yet oddly disrespecting of its own identity. The Yid thing, the 'legacy fans agenda' but no initiatives for young supporters and minimal local community work. I know what's wrong with Spurs and its deep, the work I did for them spoke volumes about how utterly rudderless the place is. Lange Venkatesham Frank these people can't fix what they dont understand.

He’s also an England international that is one of, if not the best 1v1 isolation defender in the league.
He’s also athletic and skillful enough to stand in as an inverted left winger at Champion League level.
I think he can lose concentration at times, so if it want to sit deep and defend for most of the game like a mid table or lower level team, he’s probably not the best fit.
TBH, if anything, I’d say he’s the opposite of a mid table defender. Spence with a coach that has a Poch type, big club mentality of dominating games and IMO he’s a very rare breed of FB
Yeah - completely agree. He's actually got a really rare profile and is far from some bog-standard 10m quid full-back. He's taller, faster, stronger and better 1v1 than the overwhelming majority of fullbacks in the PL...which is the best league in the world.
He has all the traits to be absolutely top class and, if he can fulfil his potential under the right coach, could be a 50m player.
Thing with him is mentality and coaching. He can be careless on the ball and occasionally lazy - he needs to be kept on his toes and good coaching/man-management to get the most out of him.
But the underlying talent is so clearly there. He had about a 5 game run under Ange last season where he looked about as good as I've ever seen a full-back look at Spurs. Thing is he needs to raise his standards and maintain that level or he'll end up another what could've been player who will be sold for 10m in a few years.
His attitude epitomises what I hate about modern day footballers. Of course not all of them but this swagger and self confidence that he has but can’t back up. He struts about like an American basketball player or NFL player but he’s a fucking mug if he thinks that shit is acceptable when he is hopeless on the pitch. I am done with this cunt as I was with Werner and Johnson against Rangers last year. He doesn’t deserve my support. Coward of a player who looks better than he is because he’s fast.
