Player Djed Spence

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Can you give me some these examples of a dreadful attitude please?
Seems like he's just kind of a bit of an aloof, distant personality that is sometimes misinterpreted as not caring.

This guy just went out there for 90 minutes, in the game before a World Cup, out of position, with a freshly broken jaw, in order to see his team over the line, his heart should not be in question.

And weird that Porro was included in this discussion, a great attitude is about the only top drawer attribute he's got.

Porro offers more with the ball. Spence is obviously a better defender. I don't think Spence is a bad player at all, but he's also not exceptional. Who can really say what kind of attitude players have, other than reading body language. I know it is fashionable to knock Thomas Frank, but I still remember how Frank said positive things about Spence, who then ignored him after a game. Van de vyn was part of that as well. It wasn't a good look for either of them.

You think Tuchel would be calling him up to the England squad for the World Cup if he was a cunt?

Don't really care. Haven't liked what I've seen from him this season with us. Thinks he's better than he is and has a couple of times openly disrespected managers, which no matter how shit they are isn't the thing to do in the public eye when the club is struggling.

Added to which he's been pretty crap all season. Nothing more than a backup RB for me and even then I'd prefer to keep Porro for that job.

Fine as the back up to Porro but will be glad to see the end of his covering at LB. So awkward out there and massively limited us.

For me, the issue is that I don't observe that he's very motivated when he's a starting player. I don't doubt that he has it in him and he shows it when he needs to, but I wouldn't say he's improved or kicked on at all in the last couple of seasons, and is more like a Kyle Naughton type player (useful versatile if unremarkable squad player). I'd say KWP showed more promise in that position.

Maybe you should care because Tuchel doesnt have arseholes in his squad, tells you more about a player than just some amateur psychology looking in from the outside.

Also Spence isn't the only one who openly disrespect Frank either and he isn't the only one in the swuad who's been crap so accordingly to your logic I trust you want most of our players gone?

Yes, a lot of them, very much so. Two 17th place finishes in a row isn't a blip, it's indicative of abiding, deep-rooted quality and attitude problems in the squad. A large number of the squad need gutting.

It won't happen but it should.

Also, don't give me that crap about Tuchel not having arseholes in his squad. What Tuchel doesn't accept in his squad is people that don't do what they're told. There's plenty of arseholes in that squad I'm sure, Toney for one.

I think it's indicative of club culture more than anything, players playing below par and lacking discipline as a collective says more about the club than it does the players and if, we, as fans think our club is being ran terribly from the outside then it's only going to be magnified 100x from the inside.

Thankfully though RDZ isn't going to stand for any bullshit so if Spence finds himself out of the club next season then you'd probably be right, I suspect you're massive wrong.

With the Tuchel example I think you need to use a bit of critical thinking in your analysis, this is a coach who is not afraid to drop Bellingham and had to take him down a peg because he's massive on character and togetherness, you're a bit naive if you think he's going to willingly accept arseholes in his camp.
