Player Dominic Solanke

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

...or he's just got an injury that won't clear up and keeps causing more problems.

Why are people trying to conspiracy-theorise that it's more? I mean it's not as though he'd be our first player to have an innocuous short-term injury that keeps him out for most of the season, we seem to be experts at that. 🤷‍♂️

He's reminding me of Ledley and Lamela. Both of them vanished for months on end.
The latter led to ridiculous speculation like him having sex change ffs.
The longer it goes on, with no info, the more insane theories will come out.

We should start to plan for life without him, it's not like he's Harry Kane is it ?

Start shopping for a replacement now and if he ever gets fit, put him up for sale.

100% agree.

Had Frank simply said Solanke has had an operation on his ankle, with no timescale on a return, then there would be less debate.

Now, after 2 months or whatever it is, and still no sign, it's only natural that all manner of theories abound.

Strongly looking like another waste of money.

Does being gay stop him playing football?

Nope, because there are strong rumours of one or two PL players having had gay encounters. And I will not divulge who.

I think if a footballer had come out as gay and the reaction was really negative, then I think it would be an inhibitor. I also think that it would be more difficult in the current climate than maybe 18 months ago.

The temperature around the acceptance of diversity has definitely moved to a cooler setting.
