Decent post. But honestly....watching his shots on goal were nothing too exciting....He's nimble and coordinated enough to find space to give himself chances but he just seems to be slightly lacking in technical and finishing ability to be anything too exciting, but ALAS...I will give the man time and keep the faith. He's a 7/10 with potential to hit 7.5..... :nunothumb:
He's the equivalent of a Chris Armstrong signing at best.
A bit harsh but yeah I can understand this visceral reaction too. He doesn’t WOW the way a £65m striker theoretically should. His ball striking just isn’t where it needs to be to be a truly elite striker. His physicality is good but not like overpowering dominance. I expect a lot of “bang average” rather than “shite” comments if that makes sense.

Basically The Flower Pot Men & Andy Pandy in old speak. :angehug:
Now we're talking.

If you want classic kids TV, Michael Bentine's Potty Time, The Clangers, Mr Ben, The Goodies... Bellamy is still an absolute classic and they were mates with the Pythons.

Dangermouse, Battle of the Planets, Scooby Doo, He Man, Thunder cats, The Banana Splits, Tom & Jerry, Loony Toons.

We had the lot!

Didn't we sign Armstrong after he scored about 5 goals the season before for Palace?

No Chris Armstrong had scored 23 or 25 goals for Palace the year before we signed him - and looked a decent signing. Sadly injuries reduced his effectiveness after one season.

Also had the unenviable task of replacing Jurgen Klinsmann and was also carrying the burden of being Spurs record signing.
