Any decent manager this season woldve got more out of him than he got at AFCB last season.

I know this isn't provable but I genuinely think I'd have this team 8th or 9th. one simple example. We often play in front of our oponents but lack the ability on the ball to turn round teams sitting deeper, loads of coaches have sussed this. We spent on wide forwards that can not turn, they are supposed to get shots on goals from fullbacks underlapping and cutting back the ball for a tap in. Consequently we need a creative mid to drop in turn and supply the ball wide see Maddison against AZ, but him and Kulu have fitness issues.seems logical

Moore isn’t ready for the PL physically - had no impact whereas he’s looked good in Europa. Agree tho, tactics are mindlessI know this isn't provable but I genuinely think I'd have this team 8th or 9th. one simple example. So how has Ange resolved this...he hasn't . He over plays Kulu, played Maddison out of form, then not at all, now he is back. Whilst forcing the wrong profile player Bissouma Bentancur Sarr into tactics they can't manage. I'd have literally played Sarr in a scaled back defensive midfield role played the ball forward much quicker and used an answer he already stumbled on and immediately seemed to dismiss Ademola Ajayi. Who has a way better profile in committing players and looks more physically ready than even Mickey Moore ( who should also seen more mins.
Exactly. Yet as Maddison muttered to Son..same plan same players.Moore isn’t ready for the PL physically - had no impact whereas he’s looked good in Europa. Agree tho, tactics are mindless
If the basic and ill suited Son and Johnson hadn’t started a single game as a pair, that would have yielded another ten points. Suicide combo for this set up
I think it would help if we got some crosses into the box as opposed to moving the ball side to side or backwards in the last 3rd .
Another massive flop of a signing
Says a lot when his former team are doing better without him
50 million spent on this subpar striker… what a joke
You could say that about any striker but the fact is Richie and Son scored a combined ~25 PL goals playing striker last season while they were rotatingHard to judge he gets no service.
Everyone looks shit because they play a rigid system that everyone knows how to stop. Could have prime Bale Ronaldo and Messi as the front 3 but when they don't ever get the ball they'd look wank.
That stat that came up showing our entire front 3 had touched the ball less then the Chelsea goalkeeper was embarrassing
I will reserve judgement on Dom until he actually, y'know, gets passed the ball every once in a while

Solanke has 7…
100%. Gets absolutely starved of any service whatsoever. Can't remember the last time someone actually crossed him the ball to get his head on.I will reserve judgement on Dom until he actually, y'know, gets passed the ball every once in a while
We could have put Mbappé as our number 9 this season and we'd probably be no better than 12th.Another massive flop of a signing

He was the one Ange identified he was who he wanted. He'd terrorise the SPL....Garbage
Him and Richie being our most expensive signings too is embarrassing
Outside of the first 10-12 games last season we were absolute shit - even when we had all those injuries and were playing like shit both Richie and Son were banging in goals when playing strikerKaneDomBadBoy Pointless thing to say. We were much better last season.
Solanke has had a bad season but it would be fucking weird and harsh to write him off as shit when we know he can score goals in this league. We've had our worst season in the league for an incredibly long time and nothing has gone right.
