I still have relatively high hopes for Big Don, unlike Richy. His first touch and hold up play are exceptional and he does have an eye for goal when given the chance, but therein lies the problem. Our wingers in particular couldn’t pick him out in the box to save their lives plus, despite his excellent hold up play, our wingers haven’t been creative enough to make use of him.

I don’t see him cracking the 20+ goals anytime soon but I do think he has more in him and if we can upgrade our wingers, I think we do have something there. There’s no harm in lobbing the ball up the field and having our wingers run off him. We have a decent out ball in Romero

He doesn't have an edge unfortunately. Does everything well but nothing great. He could probably be useful in a different role, but not a striker for a club with bigger ambitions. Thats why the bigger clubs didn't want him.

Nowadays we only buy the players no other big club wants, but we're paying top dollars. Our signings have been rubbish.

We ought to create far more chances for him than AFCB did last season. And we cealrly dont because its not like hes missing sitters.

The fault is the aboslute fucking fraud of a manager who cant set up a team, doesnt "do" tactics or fomrations, amnd who's generally clueless.

Create chances, he will score. And he'll get his fair share of assists too. Our goal Thurs wouldnt have happened without him chasing a ball into the box. The goal that should have given us a fighting chance v LFC in semi was 100% down to him. He had no right to get to that ball ahead of the defender, and the off balance lay off to Lucas was inch perfect, didnt even have to break stride. He's very good in the air, but how often do we actaully cross first time? We fanny around with that and it's usually blocked.

And its not his fault that his pressing is often wasted because Fat Fraud cant coach a team in how to press AS A TEAM

The most stupid thing I hear at the ground - "he's no Kane". Yeah well no one is. We lucked out with him big time.

My mate liverpool supporter told me Solanke is a £15m player when we signed him for£60m plus, he knows about football. What do Ange and Levy know about!
15mil is pushing it for a guy who scored 19 PL goals last season. Plus he's English and whether we like it or not, it has an impact on one's value.

But yeah, never ever worth 65mil. We're Spurs under Levy, though...so Solanke for 65, Richy for 60, Brennan for 55, Madders for 40ish, that's what we do.

Guess which player had the most headed goals in the Premier League last season...

Guess how many headed goals the same players scored this season...

Guess how many headed chances he's had this season...

Solanke has been let down by the drop in intensity and ineffectiveness of our collective press. He runs himself into the ground for no reason, and gets very little delivery. It is not like he is missing easy chances - we're not creating them. That said Richy has a habit of scoring (when fit) as he is sharper in the box IMO.

Richy = 4 goals, 1 assists in 562 minutes, MPGI = 112 (1st)
Solanke = 11 goals, 8 assists in 2,875 mins, MPGI = 151 (6th)
