I think soundly considered and reasoned opinions and thoughts on a variety of matters are essential. It makes for good, strong debate, and you do get some people who bend a little, but in the main it's circular and can also be good for some balance.

Speaking of injuries, I wonder if the stadium surface is contributing to the problem. I have no idea if that could be the case, but the fact that there is an NFL artificial turf surface on a movable tray below the football pitch makes me wonder how deep the surface Spurs play on is and whether impacting it (or running on it) creates stresses that wouldn't be there on a normal surface. I'm probably saying this very poorly, but what I'm getting at is how deep is the pitch Spurs use?
