He’s here nearly two seasons now and he hasn’t even got out of the starting blocks. Are we to hope that he might show something some time in 2028.
What makes you say this? He’s already shown he is willing to take a step down to get games in the past. He doesn’t give off any bad vibes, even if he hasn’t exactly shown bright since his move.

He had Maddison behind him last year and scored an astronomical 9 league goals. He just runs around a bit. Never in spaces we actually need him to be to score. He's not a good finisher either. He's just a big boy.

i think the keeper, fullbacks, wingers and midfield are bigger concerns than solanke right now.
Meh, they're all absolutely shit. Strikers that are allergic to scoring goals are a concern though.
I dont think they are bigger problems at all. These geniuses worrying about full back, and centerbacks 'progressing' the ball its bollocks. Get a Centerforward steeped in lethality a player who lives to score goals, and goalkeeper can catch and a centerbacks who is quick and can win headers. That spine prevents all manner of incompetence overwhelming you.
There's just so much to do here. It's wild. Definitely need a center forward who can put away chances, agreed, it's literally the name of the game like. None of the duds we have at the club cut it at all.
