Richy has went on longer scoring runs. I'd still replace both in the summer.
Dom has also went on some pretty long non-scorong runs. Also gone on longer non scoring runs as well.
Looking at the striker market I don't know who you think we'd able to attract to improve on Solanke...

If that's the best we can get, then we are fucked. Again, the striker market right now, in January, no interest in.
Good post.Solanke is just a better player than Rich, if we have to get rid of one it's definitely Richarlison.
The striker market is what it is right now, it's a load of nonsense...you're not gonna get an out and out uograde on Solanke, not for anything we will pay anyway.
A player that misses serious chunks of the season can't be relied upon.Solanke is just a better player than Rich, if we have to get rid of one it's definitely Richarlison.

Last season he missed a good chunk of time too. This is the first time he's has a significant injury in his career, wouldn't say it's a normal thing.
Regardless of his questionable finishing and comparisons to elite strikers, what's immediately evident is that he's way more suited to this style of play than either RKM or Rich.
When balls get lumped to him he's actually able to physically hold off opposition players, win headers and control the ball. When the ball gets lumped to Rich he usually just flops on the floor and we lose possession, while it's not RKM's natural game, either.
He's also got a much more reliable touch and link-up play. With Rich it's a complete lottery - he has the odd game where he links up fairly well but most of the time he's misplacing passes or miscontrolling the ball.
The one thing you lose with Solanke compared to the other two (Rich especially) is that capability to score a goal out of nothing. Wouldn't be surprised if Solanke never scores a bicycle kick in the rest of his career, whereas Rich will ocasionally score an absolutele worldie when you least expect it.
Personally I think Solanke's better for the team, but Rich is a useful wildcard option off the bench until the summer. Think we should aim to sell Rich and then buy a first choice striker who we then rotate with Solanke moving forward.
And fire RKM into the sun.
