What in the pat butcher deflated saggytits are you going on about?

Yes KingDickhead, I've been on antibiotics, and unlike Mr Sicknote, I still managed to go to work and then the gym on the way home.

Have you ever been on a course of antibiotics? It knocks you for six especially if you're at the early stages of the infections. This isn't your normal every day cold we're talking about here.

Yes, we're truly lucky Solanke recovered at all. I mean it was probably Super Aids. I heard that they very nearly had to call last rites. Had that have spread outside the club then it'd have made the Covid pandemic look like a child's tea party. Have you seen 28days later? It would have been like that.

In fact... now that you mention it... we can't afford to take the risk. We have to kill Solanke immediately and burn the corpse in an special medical incinerator.

We simply can't risk it

Then you've not actually been that sick, evidently.

Mate you did 20kg flat bench press for one rep with someone spotting and you failed to use proper form and didn't even go all the way down.

So you admit you like to spy on other men in the gym? That’s a bit weird. Ok... learning more about you with every new post...

Leave Solanke alone.

Neither was Solanke

Sorry but that's rubbish. If he was really, properly sick he'd be at home in bed not risking spreading his terribly infectious and undoubtedly near-fatal disease throughout our already depleted squad.

He didn't do that. He just couldn't be fucked to turn up. Why people are excusing this is an absolute mystery to me.

What next? VDV missing out on an all important relegation 6 pointer with a runny nose?

You can be recovering and not been in the infectious phase, or have an infection which isn’t viral/contagious. We don’t know enough about what was making him ill to judge.

I’m excusing it because I don’t know anything about it. We know he went on antibiotics - you usually don’t get given antibiotics unless a doctor suspects a bacterial infection. Which is usually a pretty miserable experience.

I’m not saying he was at deaths door but it’s very likely medical staff advised he wouldnt be able to play 90 mins and given the illness and other options it didn’t make sense to start him. There’s so many don’t knows about the situation.

I’m very happy to talk about the fact that in general he’s been very unavailable for us & that has to change.

Its all about attitude. If I'd been off sick for months and unable to do the job I'd been paid handsomely for, I wouldn't have the fucking bare faced cheek to call in sick with a tickly cough on the eve of the company's most important meeting.

Some people want to work. Others find any old excuse not to.

I absolutely wouldn’t be turning up to work if I was on a course of antibiotics. Fair play if you would/did but no thanks. I definitely wouldn’t turn up to a very physical job while on antibiotics. And he did turn up to work, to be fair.

Anyway going round in circles.

I had an infection in my feckin nostril over the summer. An ingrown hair that got inflamed/infected. That was some of the worst pain I've ever had. Caused migraines, blurry vision, even something like light material touching it was intense pain. In hospital on an IV drip with it.

If his throat was even close to that, I can't fathom playing a game.

A tickly cough and a throat infection are entirely different - suspect it was somewhere in the middle of

Look, he seems a lovely bloke, tries hard, runs a lot but, scores the ood goal...we paid the same for him as City did for Semenyo....How do we get it wrong so often. How do Bournemouth manage to buy Rayan who looks a fantastic prospect and we're not even on the radar for him.

Genuine question. Would it be possible that the physios have a say in someone’s ability to play, maybe even an insurance obligation not to put someone at risk ?

I had an ( admittedly complete cunt ) get himself signed off week before Christmas and then he rocked up week Christmas and avoided his return to work, when we finally get him in the rtw he then produced a fit note that said he wasn’t “fit for work” until 25 Jan.

We sent he straight home and asked him to stay away from work until the doctors cleared him properly, the reason being HR advice was we had a duty of care not to have a potentially unwell person working.

Just surmising really, but maybe the players can’t always rock up, even if they wanted to ?

Shadydan Shadydan is your boy playing or what's the deal? I know you were excited for his two good games a year, but since then, you'd contribute more.

Sorry bud, didn't see you were binned for what is likely, a world class take. Keep the chin up, friend.
