Will he? I mean there will always be a section who think an England manager should be English. But these are the ones that would rejoice if we had someone like Allardyce in charge. Surely most would see that Tuchel has all the credentials we need from a manager to take us that next step.

Rather surprised you don't have Dave Mackay as the go to.

Yeah that's a team, not an experiment.

Ultimately the Greece result sucked but people overreacted to it. We tried to just throw out talent and try something very new and it didn't work. Fine, that's what the nations league (glorified friendlies) are basically for.

That side has players who are game changers/difference makers but also balanced with players who want to retain the ball. Grealish for example, bus-conductor bus-conductor might think he's a pub player but the reality is that he's a top level tactical asset who will NOT lose possession and will draw fouls. Huge to have in the bank and there's a reason Pep ALWAYS starts him in the big CL clashes.
