Yeah, like I said, you can get away with it until you play a half decent team, then you just get outplayed and lose.
lol we got outplayed because we had Southgate at the helm, not because we had Grealish as an 8 or something .. quite the fucking opposite tbh.
We still (with a champo level coach) beat half decent teams like the Swiss and the Dutch in the Euros.
We lost to the best team (much better than that overrated hipster mess Nagelsmann heads who can’t even beat the Dutch atm) of the tournament 2-1. No shame.
Literally went through the entire Euros, even under Southgate, where the only team that outplayed us to an extent was Spain in the final. And that was largely down to us sitting back which was a Southgate thing.
What other teams have actually outplayed England?
I'm not hating on Kane but with him picking up a knock in Bayern's last game it would be the perfect time to see Watkins and Solanke in these upcoming games instead of the great man lumbering around.
I can't see why they would have sent Solanke out to talk to the media if he wasn't going to play.

I don't mean start both. But surely both will feature over the next couple of games. Although he's far from finished we do need to start looking beyond Harry.
Utter nonsense. When England lost to a brilliant Croatia team in the World Cup semi final in 2018, it was a game of two halves. England should have had the game won by half time. When they lost to France in the World Cup QF 4 years later, the game where Kane skied a penalty, there was absolutely nothing in it. Only Spain outplayed England, and that was clearly down to Southgate's tactics and team selection.
I think Jude can be really effective there, but why not just playing Watkins who is an out and out striker and a fantastic one?

Trouble is there’re any worthwhile English strikers around. Watkins, Solanke and Toney …..none really international class. Who else is there at the moment…..hopefully Lankshear in a few years.
