ENIC In or ENIC Out

Honestly, we need a change and I think it's mainly down to the fact that they really have no philosophy or plan for the club.

When Conte said he respects the vision of the club my first thought was "What vision?"

The vision flip flops all the time to try and keep the money rolling in.

And I think that's the issue, I am not sure what the plan is? Build up with youth and look for a long term plan? Or hire managers like Conte but not get players a manager like Conte would desire?

It really makes no sense, it's like a constant tug of war between wanting to be a big club but then not doing what is needed to become one.

There is just a stink of failure and incompetence around their ownership when it comes to footballing matters and I think it's leaking into the dressing room and on to the managers that come here.

People say owners can't have an impact on the club, they aren't playing on the pitch or managing the team but I think a team like Newcastle proves otherwise.

When you get owners in that you know want nothing but success it gives your club a fear factor in this day and age.

ENIC and Levy have more in common with politics than they do with football.

We need a change and I think they need to sell now, replacing managers and players simply won't do anything at this point.

I fucking hate to give them any credit, but when you look at Woolwich sticking behind Arteta when he had them in that horrific run in 2020, their board clearly put their entire reputations on the line for a manager they clearly saw something in while the club was a laughing stock. They were willing to go against the wishes of the fans and prove them wrong by proving they are in charge for a reason.

Can we ever see Levy doing the same? They haven't done a single thing we can't do financial wise.

I think the elephant in the room is the academy and how this board and ownership aren’t getting anything meaningful out of it.

Either through neglect, mismanagement or not properly funded to succeed.

Foden, Saka, Smith-Rowe, Nketiah, Rashford, Mount, loftus-Cheek, Alexander-Arnold, James, and probably more I am forgetting, fill up a squad spot at the clubs we’re trying to compete with, and they generally at worst are useful squad members.

Thus meaning they need to fill less places in the transfer window and can outlay more to get quality in the positions needed. We on the other hand get very little from the academy and buy players that look like they could be good enough but are just below the level required.

Kane came through the academy a decade ago. Winks showed glimpses but has faded badly. Skipp is at a crucial period in his career I feel. Needs to get game time so he can kick on or could be the next near miss from the academy.

What I don't understand is a very few "supporters" getting delighted when we're losing.

Saw it during the Brentford match. They were on here at half time wetting there knickers with excitement that they add more ammo to use against Enic.

You even have some actively wishing we'd lose matches.

That's very strange behaviour.
I remember being in Spurs away crowds when the Sugar out Tottenham Action Group would unfurl their banners every time Spurs conceded a goal.

I always wait until after a game; especially if I am angry.

I'd never boo during a game either.

Support the team for 90 minutes.

Boo at the end if they deserve it.

Eriksen turned down new contracts so he could earn more elsewhere. He gambled on a big Spanish club taking him on a free.

You can’t blame levy for that. It was eriksens choice.
I blame Levy for paying Eriksen a reported 65k per week but disproportionately rewarding others, like Lloris, Dele, Son and Kane with remuneration running into hundreds of thousands of pounds per week.

Those actions would kill the morale in any workplace.

Levy knew what the outcome would be in respect of the under payed players feeling under valued and wanting parity with the others or to leave the club.

The fact that Eriksen, Toby and Rose ran their contracts down tells you something.

He turned down the chance to earn more. His choice.

Then played like a cunt for his last season. His choice.

Yes, you look at United under Ferguson no matter how good they were or what they won which was plenty they always strengthened at least one addition to their squad Ferguson always knew he could do better….we should have done the same after the champions league run took advantage of that let potential transfers see what we could achieve, but no levy thought we’d arrived and reached the holy land with a dead squad that didnt need freshened up.

I don't like Levy or ENIC but Woolwich have spent a fucking fortune on that team.

I can't believe they are top of the league and I don't rate Arteta.

Did Airfixx Airfixx stevee stevee GOAT GOAT all go today?
I kind of think it’s commendable that they stick to their beliefs but it is becoming harder to defend . They don’t like the idea of an owner sportswashing , but it’s the modern game . It’s corrupt , every owner has blood on their hands to some degree . It’s an old school way of thinking but we don’t live in an old school world anymore. It’s toxic , disgraceful & anyone who thinks they can make money out of it are deluded . ENIC are in a unique position that they can walk away making a tidy sum , billions of pounds . It’s time , well way overdue , that they left & let some crazy thing with way too much money to come in. I used to think Spurs were cursed but I think it’s ENIC. We don’t evolve under them & then it’s panic , a panic that usually ends in tears.

Conte will go & then some other poor sod will walk in bright eyed only to be beaten into submission taking the club down with them

Have we progressed as a football team ? It’s arguable , is 4th really better than 8th if we have nothing to show for it but the odd good buy & many flops and more importantly, no shiny things

Nothing to hide anymore. Stadium is done, Covid is over. While they annoyed me at times the stadium excuse was valid it has to be said. But now we are here and we look clueless. No plan, hire a short term manager and don’t get him the squad he needs.

As a club we either can challenge for silverware or play good football but we do neither.
