ENIC In or ENIC Out

It's really quite simple.

I responded because the anti Levy cult are, literally, unable to credit Levy with anything.
That is the whole point.

There are one or two Levy out people you can have a respectful and intelligent debate with.

Then there are the others, who have to twist things, and make stuff up.

Your lot lost the debate a while back. Now we’re just sort of laughing at the fact you’re still clinging on to an obviously lost cause.

No arguments needed. Just watch the games, that’s the whole argument right there. Watching Tottenham Hotspur play is the ENIC out argument in a nutshell, the only evidence I need to present.

Please LeParisien LeParisien if you're going to take the time to quote and pull me up for agreeing with a post at least get your facts right.

Agreeing with an opinion that expressed "disdain" for Levy dating back in 2007 does not mean I was "ENIC Out". (Though my open disdain for Levy started with the whole Stratford thing which was probably later than 2007 to be fair)

Imagine thinking that you've won a debate simply because you say so.

Ah well, always the Spurscommunity poll to fall back on*

*Its also 80 odd percent, with way more votes. I assume that’s just because all the ENIC cultists couldn’t be bothered to vote as well.
You might have noticed that I said "80%of those that could be bothered to vote"

I never mentioned one side or the other.

Do at least try and stop twisting things.

Is levy responsible for results on the football side?

Not at all / a little / a lot / completely ?
Like anybody who is a CEO he shoulders the ultimate responsibility , or rather he should do . In the years since Poch alone he has been an unmitigated disaster in football terms . However because we are not publicly owned there is no accountability. As long as the cash rolls in ENIC are happy it seems

The highlighted part is fundamentally untrue though, and is a common phantom stick some fans use to beat those who openly call Levy out with.

I’m am someone who fundamentally believes Daniel Levy should no longer be our chairman. I think he has been horrendously found out over the last few years and quite frankly some of the decisions he has made in recent times would make 99.9% of CEO’s positions untenable.

However, I have a will always give him credit where credit is due for some aspects of his tenure. He has undoubtedly developed Tottenham into a global franchise, he has put us on the map in certain aspects such as the stadium etc and he has grown us as a brand.

The problem is, for every good aspect that can be pointed out about his stewardship it’s just too easy to hit back with far too many negative aspects.

The “one or two” Levy out people you refer to make up far far more of our supporters than you think.

An elite club should win more than one trophy in 23 years shouldn't they?

Exactly. Expectation vs Reality.

Spurs are not an Elite club; they are a top 6 club in England.

under Poch we benefited from the other top clubs going through rebuilds. This artificially set an expectation we were part of the big 4. We aren't.

United post Fergie
City pre Pep
Liverpool pre Klopp
Woolwich post Wenger

A top 6 club should still win more than one trophy in 23 years. Swansea, Birmingham, Wigan are equal to us and Leicester have won more
The expectation from Levy to his managers is that we get top 4 he also signed up to the super league, so he helped to set that expectation.

Levy didn't shoot a puppy today

He should be given a lot of credit for that

:contehandshead:
10% of our PL games under the bald cunt have been under a caretaker manager. That stinks of gross negligence and it’s solely on Levy, spread across multiple different managers and situations. Repeatedly choosing the wrong managers and sacking them is one thing, but not having a continuity plan to replace them and being seemingly being happy to write off entire seasons is another

He needs to go.

I don't expect to win the league every year nobody does.
But the so called 6th wealthiest club, should, have won more in recent times than it has including a title.
The club are happy to drift along each season, by securing a European place that helps cash flow.
But with, the wage to turnover ratio one of, or if not the lowest in the league, the club is held back by a lack of ambition.
Freeing the shackles off, might actually, make us competitive rather than, increasing the clubs bottom line, but then it's never been about that for ENIC which is the problem.

Increasing wages and spending more is only one factor. I strongly believe there are bigger negatives that hold us back - poor leadership, lack of vision and strategy, the under qualified and stale inner circle echo chamber of Levy, Cullen and Collecot.

If you think us losing to Bournemouth, Sheffield United, Colchester etc etc etc is solely and exclusively down to Levy then there's nothing else to say.

Yep I think we all know a certain Eric Dier and Davinson Sanchez played a part in all these games……maybe all the managers are puppets for levy and he’s writing out the team sheets on a weekly basis.

agree with you Levy's lack of strategy and long term vision football wise has cost us,
Levy's need to have save a few quid (millions really) on transfers or wages has cost us players that may have changed us into a top 4 club,
if Levy thinks that Nuno, Jose Conte's system of football is the right way then support the guy bring in the players he wants ( tell the manager/DoF the transfer limit, and they get the player/s that fit that limit)

from the Managers he has picked & the DoF Levy want's to play sit back football, so surely he knows he needs to sell poch players & buy different type of player surely if you change from being a plumbing company into a building company you need to get rid of some plumbers and bring in some builders Levy must see that ?
