I would say its more reflective of accepting the actual situations we find ourselves in rather than constantly burying our heads in the sand or covering our ears pretending things ain't what they are.

If we can't even laugh at ourselves, then what a depressing, miserable existence we have to endure.

Some of our fans really do need to lighten up a little

I'll never understand why anyone would want us to lose a game, for any reason.

I guess the only real scenario that I could understand is if us losing meant the goons / chavs not winning the title, and it didn't have much impact on our league placing. Only then could I understand it (still wouldn't like it though).

To be fair to Shady, he didn't actually say he wanted us to lose a game.

just that he got a certain satisfaction from seeing the frustration and anger among our more passionate fans when we do.

A very strange position to take, I thought.
 
Talking about losing games.

Throughout my life a Spurs defeat would absolutely ruin my weekend. The wife would need to really work to shake me out of it.
No chance of getting a stalker.. Not even a semi.

Nowadays that post loss feeling and anger has gone. That's another sad indictment of what we've become, I suppose.

Although I'm always disappointed when we lose, I guess I take some kind of solace in that every defeat might just push our abhorrent owners a little closer to the exit door.

Some people have got to the stage where they are so anti Levy/Enic that they will wish the club fails at every turn

Any positive news / results are seen as being likely to keep them at the club for longer

The reality is they aren't going anywhere, and if they are nothing any fans do will make it happen any quicker

So in my view you either support the club or you may as well fuck off and find something else to do

The thing is, criticising the club for the shit they do wrong, is perfectly understandable. I get that and do it myself.

But this forum has a number of posters who just flat out make stuff up, always assume the worst when they don’t know any facts and now this recent slagging off of anything that might be good news or good for the club . I just don’t understand why you’d be motivated to do that.

If the motivation is ENIC selling, maybe take more direct action than sniggering like a wee girl when the club actually achieves something good.
