Or if you want me to take my dumb humor hat off for a moment - your constant shilling for the Board/Levy is even more Cringe.
You do really have to ask what his motivation is, don't you.

Every Spurs fan I know wants Spurs to win.
To start acting like a club befitting of our historical status, our huge support, and our enourmous wealth.
I've never met a football fan of any team with such an obsession/infatuation with the clubs CEO./ owners

Yet alone one with such utter disregard and contempt for the supporters.

Well, I think the strategy would not to be to replace Kane, but to adopt a new system.

We have built our squad around Kane for 8 seasons now, it has produced 1 Audi Cup.
No we have not “built” a team around kane. There’s has been no strategy to our transfers or direction. We simply have the best striker in the world surrounded by a bunch of mostly average players, that is why we have nothing to show for it. Surround him with better players and there’s more chance for success, it’s really that simple.

Well, there was a strategy, it just didn't work out.

We got an excellent set piece coach.

Perisic was excellent in Italy. Providing assists and goals.

Bissouma at Brighton was able to turn around play and transitions to attack with accuracy.

Lenglet and Romero had reputations as long ball specialists.

Richarlison has the work rate and movement to wreak havoc on defences and make room for Kane and Son.

Kulusevski has the skill to open up defences and find the runs of Kane and Son.

AND THEN

Bissouma, Kulu, Richarlison, Bentancuar - all injured.

The wheels fell off.

no strategy re Hugo - needed long term replacement last summer not some freeby back up from Southampton.
Centre half - cheap mediocre loan. Not the quality centre half needed.
Dier and Sanchez - why are they still here? - cheaper to keep the chuckle brothers than replace with quality.
No attacking midfielder.
Wasting funds on a win now manager and not backing him properly
forcing club signings on Conti - see Spence
Hiring a crook as DOF.

All this smacks of a chairman attempting to be clever and again getting things hopelessly wrong - not for the first time.

As usual trying to do football things on the cheap. There was no plan just a collection of schemes to pull the wool over fans eyes. Unfortunately for Mr Levy everyone knows what's going on now.

Things are going to get shitty and toxic for him and the board, that's exactly what they deserve.

It won't get much better this time around

Watching the Man City game last night and Jack Grealish in particular made me think of our opening bid for Grealish when he was still a young player at Villa- £3M plus Josh Onomah. LOL.
Yet he was happy to sanction £55M for NDombele, £44M for Big Dav and multi millions on a bunch of underperforming FBs/WBs none of whom are even close to the level of Kyle Walker.
The old saying “to know the price of everything and the value of nothing” has never seemed more apt.

Was a typical way we go about stuff. Bet poch was tearing his hair out.

Stadium costs etc etc but £3m was stupid - they reckon if we had of gone it at £25m - what they were asking - we could have signed him as soon as the window opened.

Wasn’t even that young. I think 22or 23? for one of England’s most talented youngsters.

Same window a 21 year old familiar Brazilian went from Watford to Everton for £35M

Aston Villa were bankrupt, yet he would rather get one over on a then dying club trying to get grealish for a max 15 million than pay the asking price and get the player Poch desperatley wanted. Think Villa demanded over 30 million.

Instead it backfired spetacularly as they got new rich owners, we signed no one that summer and the club has been on a downard trend since. But eventually we did go and sign young attacking creativity in the side by spending over 80 million pounds on Ndombele and Locelso :levystare:
