That's hardly childish is it? It's objective reality.
People are online flinging childish insults at each other (hence me using the term keyboard warrior) rather than going out into the world and becoming a better version of themselves.
If people want to engage in mature discourse and have disagreements that's fine, it doesn't make someone a keyboard warrior to have an opinion, it does however devolve into that when stupid childish insults get thrown around rather than highlighting points and disagreeing.
I would love new owners and I am not a fan of Levy or Lewis but I don't think we have paid bots on here defending them, I think we have people with a different opinion that I can respectfully disagree with.
Some of them also throw childish insults around, like I said in my original post, hence why I said the level of discourse is awful.
I myself have indulged in this pathetic level of discourse before and flung insults at others in childish frustration, so I speak from experience when I say it's pathetic and stupid.
Maybe introspection would go a long way in some instances.
I agree that all these owners are likely to be varying degrees of dodgy. But 3 things i would say.......The pearl clutching going on regards Dirty Joe's dodgy dealing is quite amusing.
Many of those who seem the most outraged said they were fine with us being sold to a Middle Easter slave state, a sign of just how impeccably calibrated their moral compasses were.
Let's imagine that a syndicate of very rich bastards buy Spurs, pledging to Spend Spend Spend. And yay, lo and behold they start spending. If one of that syndicate was then accused of insider trading, do you think the advocates of this new regime would be up in arms at the corrupt business practices on display or would they more likely be all...
They were being held up us being at least decent and we were doing things the right way Secondly they're not even dodgy with the teams real interest at heart so its the worst of both worlds and lastly and the main one for me is just the constant clown show drama, its like being run by Inspector Clouseau. Some things might be bad luck but if you're not a smart general you need to be a lucky one and we dont even have that.
It just gives off a sense of decay, of a group that have been here too long and run out of ideas and now just decended into farce. I'm not one to slag off everything they have done, there was some good in there upto a point (2016 ish) but the last 5 years has just been abysmal custodianship.
