ENIC In or ENIC Out

It's really very simple.

It's because Enic have always, and will always insist on the club being self sufficient.
This means zero investment from the owners.

This is a completely separate thing from the FFP figures.

We have actually made a loss for the last two financial years.

Arent the FFP figures not reflective of money in vs money out?

I.e. we can spend what we make. So overall if we've spent 400 million less than FFP allowed us to, that money has been diverted elsewhere by choice over the last few years.

I think ENIC would have alot more understanding from fans if they sent the extra mile to give poch what he needed before initiating this stadium process

I feel it is genuinely sad to see what is happening at Tottenham.

Board level decisions took Spurs to 8th last season. The last 10 games of the season were disgustingly embarrassing 🙈

After the manager walked how he did, there should have been no hiding places when those results followed.

But here we are, three weeks to go and nothing really major has happened to give us a sense that they absolutely won’t tolerate anymore bollocks. There are players who stunk the place up against AS Mura who are still here, still starting. WTF 🤬

The reaction to the shocks of last season ( and previously ) have not been enough of a jolt to create a fight back. It’s feeling like the the absolute minimum is being done to stand still, or worse stay up.

I like Ange, I want him to do well, but he’s hobbled from the start here. He shouldn’t have been lumbered with the same deadwood that saw off four other coaches, and he must see them building hotels and wondering how much of his transfer budget is spent on the express lifts.

We are more likely by the day to have to have some combination of Dier, Sanchez and Davies in and around the squad in three weeks time.

The problem with anyone of these tits is that they were back up players when they were in their prime ! They now start games. They can perform with ineptitude time and again, there is no consequence for failure at Spurs, just a focus on the player write downs and length of contracts.

All those players should have been gone. No ifs or butts. Gone. End of.

Add in Ange has a Captain that wants to leave. But is inexplicably still there ( Why on earth is he still here )

The second senior leader / Captain, voice in the dressing room and arguably best player ever has is one foot out the door. Fair enough if he wants to go, but for goodness sake save the managers blushes and replace him from a position of strength. Not desperately squeeze a small sum extra and end up with the modern day super Pav running about a bit.

At this rate we will sell Kane for £100m and try to pay £60m for Calvert Lewin and end up with Ings on loan.

What boardroom allows these things to be happening ?
.
Director of Football still no hint of one. Scott Munn. What an embarrassing situation that proved to be.

And Dead Hand Dan has more control than at any point recently, months after the claims were made that he was finally stepping back.

Fucking shambles of a club. Overseen by an Obtuse ownership.
Add to that we are going into this season totally under cooked, no game this weekend for no apparent reason, No way has the manager had enough time with these players to work on much of anything.

This summer has been an absolute shit show of ineptitude. The only bright thing for me was Maddison but clearly that was just to sell a few tickets and pump in some more false hope to the fanbase.

What you gonna do about it?
Well, there is not heaps we can do. But some choices I have made have been to engage with the club via email etc, use the THFC Supports club route to share frustrations ( which generally means even more frustration )

And I have limited my finanicial contributions to the club where I could, I won’t buy club merchandise, won’t buy extra / away tickets these days, more selective than I used to be on cup matches. We have a beer outside the stadium, not within it.

Beyond that I’ve made suggestions as to how we ( fan base ) might protest and have expressed as much opinion as i think is reasonable.

I do throw the odd c*unt here and there, but generally engage in the debate as constructively as possible.

The last thing I could reasonably withdraw is my season ticket. That would mean losing the company of my friends as well as the football, so doing that is somewhat an act of self harm.

As we get older and family life takes priority it’s hard to find the space for other things, so football remains an outlet beyond the product that ENIC put on offer.

Modern football is from what I can see based on 3 main things.

1 vision
2 recruitment
3 spending

Man City have all 3 and thus dominate. Chelsea and Man United smash the spending and Brighton are great at 1/2.

Our recruitment in recent seasons hasn’t been bad or at least as bad as it was. Richarlison, Kulusevski, Bentancur, Porro, Udogie etc are all very good players but we still have holes (CB) and we have bought these players without thought in how we use them. I.e Conte didn’t want many of them it seems.

Our spending has increased and our recruitment appears to be getting better but all it takes is for the club to turn the ship around again and go from Angeball back to defensive football. We cannot win anything short term as we won’t buy or can’t buy the very best so we have to like Woolwich prepare a long term plan. This is where we normally fuck up as vision isn’t something Levy/Cullen and the rest of them have ever had.

All reasons why you want A DOF for 1 & 2 because Levy has proven that he isn't capable of them. As soon as he feels like he might get blamed for the issues with 2 & 3, he's sacking the manager as a scapegoat and doing a full 180 on 1.

I think I’ve worked it out. The systematic wrong decision making of levy over the last 4 years is to drive down the value of the club, so it gets to a point where he can afford to buy out Lewis’s stake so he can own the club outright.

A terrifying proposition.

If you're having club problems I feel bad for you Son! But I've got 99 problems and a lisp ain't one (if we sell Kane).
This will never work , we have been weened on Chas and Dave with a side order of Barry Manilow, I will not accept some music industry wannabe buying our club . It‘s bad enough ENIC tarnishing our football legacy, they better not mess with our musical heritage as well .

Fully expect a few people to say ain’t no pleasing you , but enough is enough
