Every game sells out immediately and people complain about a lack of availability.

I don't really know what the answer is to that, we have the second largest ground in the league and haven't really had any notable success on the pitch, but clearly the pricing isn't so wildly off.

The trust are just campaigning against their STs going up in the near future.

Huge demand for the 8k members tickets at the higher pricing this season will make Danny pretty confident he can up the ST pricing next season.

Taking your foot off the board's necks just because we are winning isn't how you protest. You've wanted him out for so long and only 3 months ago you were calling for his departure and smashing your keyboards, now just because all is going well you want to wait and see to see if this continues, if not your back on your keyboards lol actually pathetic 😆

After putting up with being taken advantage of for a long, long while and paying some of the highest ticket prices in the league, fans deserve a chance to enjoy this while they can.

I find it more hilarious that some are so wrapped up and brainwashed that they spend much of their time defending very wealthy, very powerful people who make a fool of them on a yearly basis in a somewhat Stockholm syndrome like manner.

Critical thinking is needed to escape from that trap.

I would say we have been building to where we are now for a few years.

Levy & Co fucked up with the managerial appointments of Nuno, Jose and Conte - there is no doubt - but other things have been spot on, not least of all, our recruitment.

All summer long I was not allowed to sound or seem positive at all - being accused of being this and that by quite a few folks on here that seemed almost like they wanted us to fail so that they could feel justified in their negativity.

Many of those posters rarely post now - which I find strange considering there is no actual football over the summer and they seem more like fans of transfers and gossip than they do of actual football.

95% of the naysayers predictions were wrong.

Vicario - cheap option, ENIC OUT
VDV - Bought too late and will never integrate into the squad in time - ENIC OUT
Son, past it - ENIC OUT
Net spend is low, we are doomed - ENIC OUT

to name a few of the non-stop repeated comments over the summer.

We will inevitably hit a rough patch at some point - of course we will - and we clearly need to invest more, add depth and continue building on what is a great base. I am sure this thread will get busy when we lose a game or two - it always does.
To be honest, I am in the Levy out camp, I think the guy is a prise prick. Still, he got the manager right this time, and only time will tell if he actually backs him consistently.

If Levy has decided to stay the fuck out of all footballing matters and is leaving this to those he employed to look after the footballing matters, then fine I am happy for him stay.

But I am not forgetting the shit he done in the past, like not knowing how many players you can loan out and giving a player away for free.

Not backing Poch in the year we got to the CL final.

All the times he sold our best players only to replacement them cheap alternatives, rather than getting in a quality replacement first, then selling the likes of Walker and Trippier etc.

And as for hiring Mourinho (a personal choice), Nuno and Cunti, he shall never be forgiven.

Let’s see if Baldy has the brains to recognise his 5th or 6th choice manager , which is the rumour Ange was ( he certainly wasn’t 1st or 2nd) is a nugget that has saved his bacon from the Levy out chants .

Within a couple of games Ange has unified the fans with the club again , not with ENIC . I have stated many times we are an apathetic fan base, so good results mean even more apathy for a fight . Fans choosing instead to enjoy the long overdue feel good factor

IF and it’s a big IF Levy recognises this and backs Ange appropriately , then and only then will I stop wishing he would sod off .

If Levy screws it up the clamour for him to go will return , but it will still be half hearted in person , whereas this thread will get busy again
Outside of several trophies (including multiple league titles) in a short time frame, I doubt anyone will ever change their opinion from ENICout. What other way is there?

You say "backs Ange properly", what does that look like? It seems Micky was the top choice, but he was also believed to be cheaper than Tapsoba - if he'd fallen on his face and we were mid-table after hiding from Woolwich and Liverpool everyone would surely be calling Levy to the carpet as a cheap cunt. Ditto for Vicario vs. Raya.

This isn't to take a shot at you, merely to state I fully expect any ENICoutters will ascribe every sliver of success to Ange, and possibly Paratici, while at the first sign of trouble Levy will be called out for not spending and "backing the manager".

The problem with "back the manager" is, as it always has been, that no one shouting it actually knows what the manager wants. They merely project what they want onto the manager, and thus it's really placate me.

I think idea of not forgiving an owner for making some wrong decisions is what it is.

I don't see the point in it personally but if that's how you and others like to live life then more power to you.

Life is too short for me to have such strong feelings towards an owner, players or even opposition fans of a sports enterprise. And whilst when we are losing and everything is glum its fashionable to want to owners to leave.... the fact is most people, like myself only really care about enjoying the time watching Spurs and when they are enjoying it, the last thing 90% of fans care about doing is moaning about the owners.

Well I would certainly like to see the Kane money available for Ange , if it isn’t I would not see that as backing him , the squad is wafer thin

This needs to be stickied somewhere.

Backing the manager is incredibly subjective, what I do know is that whatever business we do in January will never be enough if we don't win the league this season.

Not the case at all , yes with the start we have had expectations have risen however not to the point of winning the league , well at least not in my case . I am enjoying the football , the manager and the non toxic atmosphere

where I stand at the moment

Win the league. : I would probably have a massive heart attack or stroke

2nd to 5th : Hopefully 5th gets CL place, I would be deliriously happy

Europa League place: That would be OK with the better quality football we are playing

7TH or below : Would be disappointing

Obviously my original expectations were less optimistic in a transition year

That's fine but I can see a scenario where if we are on top come Jan and we don't win the league despite of the players we bring in then I know that whatever business we did in Jan won't be enough and folk will use that as ammunition against the board.

In Jan though I do expect another CB to come in, we desperately need that and I think we'll bring in a CM if Hojberg goes, not sure I can see any other business being done TBH.

Romero makes Daniel Levy claim about Tottenham

Speaking to Sky Sports, Romero praised his manager Ange Postecoglou and spoke of winning something for Spurs.

And within the interview, he also mentioned the changes coming from the top down with Levy.

“I see it this way. That obviously to win it doesn’t only depend on the coaching staff and 26-30 players in the squad. It doesn’t only depend on this. It depends on a lot of aspects that are around to build an institution which looks to win things like this” Romero said.

“Because in the end, in the future a lot of players will have played here and to achieve something would be huge. If you don’t, you can be just another player who played for the club and I wouldn’t like that.

“For that, I always say Ange is an ideal coach for the club. The chairman is making big changes, the squad is good, we’re working for that. The Premier League is very tough, a lot of games left. It would be immature to talk of winning something now. Each match for us is a final and that is how we’re facing it.”

Exactly. One for all and all for one.

Levy's been watching the Muskerhounds.

Hard to commit to a bookmark this as who knows what injuries might occur , however without injuries I would certainly not being expecting more than 2 in Jan . However I would not be pleased with the old 2 free transfers , one a pensioner and one made of glass stroke that he pulled before .

Nothing feasible changed, still levy enic out...
I'm happy to admit I was wrong about ange, he seems to actually know what he is doing and I definitely got him wrong. Vicario also looks decent, maybe better than I gave him credit for if I'm honest....
But levy is still the problem, just because we are doing miles better than we thought we would..it changes nothing...
