“Onlookers” Are you saying they aren’t spurs fans? Or just spurs fans with a deeper interest in the game of football - rather than just being “Spurs”.
There to evaluate as much as give vocal support?

If so I think it’s a small percentage compared to the amount of tourists and families who go these days.

My old season ticket area was extremely quiet but had a fair proportion of “fans” who I would class as having a passing interest in football tactics at best.
Plenty of shopping bags, selfies and overhearing conversations about holidays, extensions and schooling issues.

I do remember taking a notebook to Wembley once and being looked at like some sort of lunatic as I scribbled notes about the warm up and then the game.
SOCCER!!!!

We are just numbers on a spreadsheet. Always have been always will be.

I have no choice but to pay ticket prices to see games but I don't buy food or drink in the stadium or buy anything in the shops or online.

As has been mentioned I know for a fact that Levy would prefer to get rid of season tickets altogether as he could make more money from tourists.

Putting this in here because it’s clearly Ange saying it’s a club situation and he’s fine with it.

As a fan, I’d be fine with it if they still managed to get and keep the quality of player to win AND did their best to keep ticket prices as reasonable as their transfer spending.

Whether the club is ready or not, it needs to win things as the next step or the eventual outcome is slow decline. We have already reached the point where maintaining the same wage and transfer budget policy is becoming a gamble against the progress of the whole club.

Ange has arrived at the 'Tottenham manager making sanguine statements about our pauper status' phase far sooner than I was expecting.

All well and good saying it now but let's see his energy in a couple of years when he's got us really challenging.
