Usual inaccuracies in these articles, Telegraph journalists should really do more research.

Lewis, or the trust, was never prepared to inject cash into the club after that initial outlay. Levy’s goal, therefore, was always for it to be self-sustaining.

I don’t know if this is irony but I fully agree

WALOB. Just because you spend 400m doesn't mean winning is easy or a forgone conclusion.

PSG would have 3 CL trophies by now if that were the case but it isn't. Spending 400m would ramp up the pressure to win but it would only help you if you bought the right players and that is easier said than done, no matter what money you spend.

But not if it means you get to enjoy winning at football despite the premier league being one of the greediest most corrupt institutions in the country

I assume you do not watch the World Cup?
I want Spurs to win.

Why would I not want Spurs to win?

The issue of the owners test is a matter for the F.A.

I find it odd that when Blackburn and Newcastle were bankrolled, in the 1990's, this was deemed to be acceptble and never mentioned from a moral perspective.

Abramovich's ownership of Chelsea and Manchester City's current ownership have clearly broken the duopoly that Manchester United and Woolwich were enjoying.

Liverpool's former dominance has also been broken.

This seems to be the source of most of the whining for the last decade at least.

True

I may have failed to read it

But I had the intention to read it , so I am claiming it as a moral read
You really are a dumbo. You have already demonstrated your inability to understand irony, and yet you feel that, somehow, you are compelled to do it time and again - in the folorn hope that you're being funny at my expense. Oblivious to the fact that I'm pissing myself at your boneheaded stupidity.

Crack on numbnuts - at least you're amusing yourself.

Chelsea are a good example of that. But it is silly to pretend that spending hundreds of millions doesnt make it a lot easier to win. That’s the whole point of spending the money.

However, the joy is in having a project and a way of doing things. Winning is fun for five minutes and then you want to win again. The truly interesting thing is to have an identity and a way of doing things that is inherently stimulating. That’s what our model gives us. You have to be able to enjoy the process and the act of striving in life because humans adjust very quickly to increased levels of success.

If we win the next 2 games all protests will wither away. If we beat City again at ours the feel good factor will be strong.
Of Course. But it's happened once and the owners know it can happen again......and again...and again.

Protests against Ashley and the Glazers etc were sporadic and pretty much went up and down with form but once the genie is out of the bottle you ain't ever really gonna cork it back in.

The numbers yesterday were awesome. And sure, a few good results and they'll die down, but they're always gonna be simmering under the surface which is fantastic for our long term prospects

Long Live "Change For Tottenham

ok

BBC said at least a thousand, Daily Mail said a couple of thousand. I don't understand the salty morons on here who always trying to denigrate fans who actually try and do something.
Agreed. Even I disagreed with what they are protesting. I’d think good on them for standing up for something they believe strongly in.

Over 5 years of getting it wrong , yet they always sound so confident in themselves.

Yeah, but none of it is right - I can admit I am a complete hypocrite though - following football and caring about greed an corruption is not possible to do without admitting that IMHO

I do have a line though - I don't think ill watch a world cup again -

Yeah but the amount you spend isn’t an identity.

What you spend on and the way you play is an identity. The culture of your club and the way you conduct yourself is an identity,

Just trying to keep a balanced spreadsheet isn’t an identity any more than doing the opposite
