We are drowning now , we were treading water but no longerThe way that I see it, there are three possible scenarios that could see another actual sports focused project happening under Levy.
1: One of our many youngsters blooms into an actual world class player and even Daniel himself sees an opportunity for success and tries to build a team around said player.
2: Once Lewis croaks one of his kids assumes control and decides that they want to own a actually competitive football team. So they order Daniel to make it happen or pack his bags.
3: An actual big shot in world football calls Levy out for his lack of ambition publicly. I'm talking someone of the Florentino Perez, Jürgen Klopp, Khelaifi types. A big wig in the sport as a whole that is not related to the club.
Unless something like that happens we are most likely just going to keep threading water under Levy's stewardship and flatter to deceive time and time again.
Doesn’t detract from my point that he knows much more than you or I about the subject. He was a fucking dreadful chairman and a shit businessman and now he chats shit on radio because of his failure at those two things.
Palace fans fucking hate the cunt.

Surprised he can remember much of it. He was snorting up half of Colombia for most of his tenure.Jordan on the button as always. Has forgotten more about running a football club than we collectively know.
Is knowing how to do something really badly better than not knowing how to do it at all .Doesn’t detract from my point that he knows much more than you or I about the subject.
I’d suggest that anyone who has ran a club in any way, is better informed as to what it takes than a shower of randoms on a forum, yes.Is knowing how to do something really badly better than not knowing how to do it at all .
I didn’t google so this might be crap but I thought he ran them financially very badly and had to sell up . He didn’t deliver on the football side either IIRCI’d suggest that anyone who has ran a club in any way, is better informed as to what it takes than a shower of randoms on a forum, yes.
And what, specifically, did he do so badly? No googling now…..
Levy was a unique type of chairman when he was low balling West Ham and Leeds United for good players that were of no interest to the then big 4 of Chelsea, Woolwich, Man United and Liverpool.Tbh I think levy is getting the heat as he hired ange. His model is dated now. 20 years ago was a decent idea. Hes a stubborn man imo and wont leave till we win a trophy. Kind of bloke who has to have last word.
Fell asleep in front of the gas fire
Trouble is the stadium is full of tourists, who don't give a monkey's.Yep. I’ve said it before - that moment where his wife had to comfort him at a game?
We need that x100. He needs to enter a stadium and feel absolutely despised to the point where he can’t go anymore.
It’s the only way imo. Force him out like a fucking virus.
Dude you forget I played Football Manager for 20 years!!!I’d suggest that anyone who has ran a club in any way, is better informed as to what it takes than a shower of randoms on a forum, yes.

This is exactly why I'm not renewing mine - I get treated better by Charlton FC.I rarely come onto this thread, as it is quite negative and depressing. But one of my friends posted on our WhatsApp group that after reading Levy's remarks, he was seriously thinking about not renewing his ST, as he saw it as taking away any hope of winning something. So I thought that I needed to find out what was said, as the friend is a bit doom and gloom sometimes. I was shocked to read the comments TBH, couldn't believe how wrong Levy has got it.
My main complaints are:
- We pay the highest prices for the worst football I have seen, since I started watching Spurs.
- Levy paid himself a bonus of £6.58m, more than twice the second highest CEO.
I will renew my ST, but at the last minute, and I will continue my personal boycott on buying anything in the stadium or shop.
I'm going on the heritage walk tomorrow, it'll be interesting to gauge the feeling of the other attendees. I know one of the 'stops' is Bill Nick's house - he must be turning in his grave right now.

His recent comments put me there, honestly. His claiming there is no problem with the way the club is being run or with spending means there's no hope of change. We've steadily been getting worse for years and he only promises more of the same.
He is wrong so are uIt's because he's convinced that he's not the crazy one, it's everyone else. To his mind, he's one of the only rational owners/Chairmen where everyone else is essentially a kamikaze businessmen.
If we're being realistic, he's not actually wrong. Most clubs/companies cannot sustain losses every single year for multiple years, and is a more recent phenomenon caused by entities with seemingly unlimited funds buying up clubs and disrupting the system.
But while he might be correct to a certain extent, this is the world in which he wants to operate in. He must think that he can wait it out until reality resurfaces for most of these clubs, but the reality is that he either needs to play the game or get out of the way.
