I originally thought about sticking with calling him Keyser Soze ,but he is more of a pantomime villain than master criminal.

Brentford are behind us. Oh no they’re not
Palace are behind us. Oh no they’re not
Aston Villa are behind us. Oh no they’re not
Newcastle are behind us. Oh no they’re not
Brighton are behind us. Oh no they’re not
Bournemouth are behind us. Etc etc etc

I agree to some extent but explain how Woolwich are competing with similar terrible transfer decisions... Pepe 72m left for nothing, Aubameyang 60m left for nothing, Lacazette 50m left for nothing, Jesus 50m absolute dog shit will probably leave for nothing. Yet they can spunk 105m on Rice and pay him 250k a week. Their revenue is around the same as ours but the difference is, they focus everything on football, we focus everything on property and entertainment financed by football.

Well, Woolwich took time to build after Arteta took over. 19 losses and a lower win % than Ange in his 2nd season and 2 8th place finishes. Took him until his 4th season to crack back into the top 4.

One trophy (FA cup) in the season he took over from Emery and nothing since, bar one EFL semi and 2 top 4 finishes in 2 seasons.

By that measure Spurs fans would have all called for him to be fired after season 2.

You just said he won the FA cup in his first season , yeah ? If Ange had done that probably less would be demanding he got the boot plus their league finishes are a darn sight better than ours as are the performances.

It’s a bit of a weird comparison

The nomads did in large call for him to be fired but based on results... however, the hierarchy were convinced they had a plan and okay they have won eff all other than their covid FA cup but lets be honest... does our hierarchy have a similar plan or are they too busy focusing on what material to use for the front desk of the new hotel or what can they offer Taylor Swift to do 4 nights at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on her next tour... someone else said this but Tottenham Hotspur is an entertainment business and the football team is the placenta...

Give it a fucking rest 🤦🏻‍♂️

levy is right. he should absolutely not spend money which would compromise the stability of the club....he doesnt know how to spend good money in football. hes a businessman, operating in a field where he doesnt know where the good value is. hence why we are in this mess. id rather he did play it safe until he fucks off because if he was to push the boat out hed need to get lucky for it to work.

this is a chairman that got lucky with bale and modric being at the club and wasted the golden chance to push on. sold them both to madrid and the rest is history!

Levy's message is clear... stop moaning and get behind the team, and by the way... unless we win the Europa don't expect too much change in the summer and prepare yourself for another shite season next season...

Well we aren’t winning it with Ange.

The ball is in your court Daniel. Do what needs to be done to have any hope, however minuscule, to save this season.

I reckon every single manager he's hired and fired would have a better chance of winning this competition than the bumbling oaf he currently has in the job
So why did none of them manage it then???! We've been in these levels of competition before... and for all the positives Poch brought to the club, and for all the Trophies Jose has won at every single club he's been at bar ours, they both treated the NON-CL European competitions with total DISDAIN, as if it was somehow beneath us!

The conference league was a total inconvenience to us, cos we clearly had bigger trophies to win!

Europa League and Conference Leagues should've been within our reach...
But we were above all that Farmers League nonsense weren't we?

Take the Europa League seriously as a CLUB for once, and even ANGE might have a chance at winning it!

I think Levy has run out of road, he can’t sell us a ‘project’ or a ‘proven winner,’ these plans have both failed embarrassingly.

No serious manage or coach would entertain this poisoned chalice and any promising lad would be ground up in the mess that is Tottenham Hotspur. I really cannot guess who the next victim will be.

Levy espouses mediocrity and pays lip service to success on the field. We are in an abusive relationship with our club and I can’t decide if he is a brutal stepfather or indeed, has the football equivilent of Munchausen’s.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.
