Do their own the food & drink outlets and take all profits or do they lease them out for a set fee with the lessee taking any profits? If it is the latter it does not hurt the club if fans boycott as much but will hit renewal of the rents paid.

suspect it’s outsourced - someone like Compass Group or similarDo their own the food & drink outlets and take all profits or do they lease them out for a set fee with the lessee taking any profits? This was a good guess - check out their branding ffssuspect it’s outsourced - someone like Compass Group or similar
It would take forever to have actual empty seats though.
Levy doesn't care if there is an actual bum on the seat, just that the (overly expensive for the level of ambition) seat is paid for.
40k plus seats per game have already been paid for. The remaining 20k or so are gonna mostly sell out as it's still a draw even for the tourists.
Sure I read somewhere we make close to £500,000 per game from food/drink/merchandise.
Nah. The genie is out of the bottle now mate. The scale of last season's protests and associated media attention is unprecedented.
It's only a matter of time until they start up again. Levy and ENIC are now clinging on to a greasy pole. The trophy ain't changing nothing.
I'm still very much on a high, I know for a fact thousands of others are too - not everyone is pissed off, apart from the permanent moaners.Still blows my mind how much of a high the fans were on after the final and how quickly Levy has managed to piss everyone off again.

As I said a couple of pages back, it's strange that it only seems to be those that don't go who call for boycotts of games. Why is everyone talking about not going to games?
Won't happen anyway, season ticket renewals are nearly 100% and thousands sit in online queues to get tickets for every game.

Easy for them to do.![]()

Change starts with one person. You only need to act for one person to affect change. The challenge is getting every, 'Single', person believing he can make that change. Levy relies on divide and conquer. He needs you and every other supporter to believe they cannot change anything. If 50 percent of the Fan base decide to boycott games and don't buy any attire, Levy will soon change his tune.
Yeah. Got a European cup, new manager, new coaching staff, prob some new players...I'm still very much on a high, I know for a fact thousands of others are too - not everyone is pissed off, apart from the permanent moaners.
It was the first day of pre season yesterday, first time Frank has met a lot of the players. Let's see what happens in the next couple of weeks.

Some people have made the decision a while back not to give the club a penny & that includes going to games .
Easy to say, when you live abroad mate.I know for some people going to games is their escape from the humdrum of life & that’s also fair enough but if I did still go & knew that it would be properly organised and publicised I’d not have an issue of boycotting a game and not selling my ticket on at my cost knowing it would piss off the wee tyke .
That’s the point I was making indirectly. Even the profit is shared(revenue vs profit is another key point!)Doesn't matter my point still stands. Food and drink isn't pure profit for the club
A very small percentage, tiny in fact.
Yep, that's their decision.
Easy to say, when you live abroad mate.
It may change if you are prepared to start the change, but it won't change if you aren't. Time to realise that you have a voice and use it. Maybe no one listens or maybe many listens. You'll never know unless you try. Daniel Levy relies on you not trying. They wont.
Youre projecting your feelings onto what 50% of the fanbase might feel.
How many people turned up for protests mate.
Probably less than 1% of the fanbase.
95% of Spurs fans dont post on message boards, dont engage in discussions about the team everyday.
We cant even motivate huge swathes of people to vote on things that actually matter to theirs and the family and kids life.... football just is not that important in ths grand scale of things for most people.
Forever could be a day or forever could be 100 years. You won't know unless you try. An empty stadium speaks volumes. Even Levy will wake up if there's an empty stadium for 3 or 4 matches. Hell, even if it was a half time walk out, he will take noteIt would take forever to have actual empty seats though.
