Change the wage structure then the quality of player can improve. If it's a choice between us for 80k or chelsea/united/Woolwich for 150k it's a no brainer for any top player.

17th in the league last season and we've brought in Kudus (good), a 30 year old on loan, a totally unproven Japanese centre back and Tel who was shit for us season.

We just lost our sole creative outlet to an ACL injury for the entire season (even if he comes back, his body is done). Solanke is fucked/not shown that he is anywhere good enough. Richarlison is always fucked and when he isn't fucked, he can't score. Johnson is an abysmal footballer, anyone who talks about his goals/assists can suck my ass.

We have an atrocious squad of players, nowhere near the required level and we haven't improved.

The cunt has two weeks. If he doesn't make an effort in the transfer window then I can't be fucked to waste my time following the club this season. I'd rather spend my time going outside or learning how to read.

This is the point on which I am arriving. Why would I waste so many hours of my life if Levy isn’t even going to make an effort?

There is no point. He's counting on blind loyalty, through thick and thin but the reality is that era of football is over. Premier League clubs are just soulless corporate entities and completely undeserving of that type of following.

Levy and ENIC are using the club to make as much money as they possibly can, they do not give a flying fuck about the history of the club or the fanbase, the only thing they care about is their bottom line.

I have no issue with people choosing to continue to support the club in its current state but I find it very hard to swallow when our club is being prostituted by ENIC and we're not getting anything in return. For our time/effort/financial investment we should get a certain level of enjoyment from the club. It needs to be a mutual relationship, it hasn't been for far too long.
 
Last Summer there was a noticeable drop off in effort from the board, which culminated in an uncooked squad and a 17th place finish. I personally felt Ange was flawed but there was a complete abandonment of that project. Focus noticeably shifted towards aggressively reducing the wage bill by bringing in younger players.

Now, I have no doubt that the league season was way more of a disaster than anyone at the club could have predicted, they probably thought we could limp through the season and 8th would be a worst case scenario, arrogant and unrealistic about our squads ability.

This Summer seems to be a continuation of that.
