Good.

Bot that change he doesn't need to happen,

Just that the context of this one, at this stage of the season, first home game.... it was just all wrong.

And ill bet that every single one of the most vocal anti enic'ers on here were not there.
I was.

Levy has taken Spurs from 2nd place to 17th, in 8 seasons, under 7 managers.

During that time Levy has overseen the sales of Lloris, Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Dembele, Eriksen, Dele, Kane and Son.

Levy has previously sold; Carrick, Berbatov, Modric and Bale.

He keeps selling all of THFC's best players rather than retaining them and paying the best players a wage they deserve at THFC.

He does this while charging the THFC supporters top dollar and paying himself top dollar.

Levy and ENIC have been so successful at transforming THFC into a selling club they now have a special patrol group of 'supporters' who covertly attempt to police internet forums and censor views that are critical of this approach to running an historically significant English football club who once broke British transfer records and payed big wages to the best players.

ENIC and Levy are unsustainable; not THFC and their magnificent and loyal supporters who know and understand the history and traditions of OUR CLUB.

Which one were you in that photo of 11 people? Or were you taking the photo? :D

Of the list of players above, all were in their way down apart from Walker and Kane. We had them all at their peak (thanks Levy!). Selling them was the right thing to do. Tbh in hindsight I wish we had sold Dele to Utd for 100m 18 months earlier

The point you are missing, while attempting to defend the regime, is that Levy oversaw the replacement of every single one of these players with an inferior player; probably on lower wages, in the majority of cases.

Levy also sacked all of the people responsible for the recruitment of the better players and oversaw the recruitment of the people who brought in the inferior players.

Defending this regime is no longer a good look.

If Levy ever managed to get Spurs back to the position Poch had us in; we now know what comes after that don't we?

8 years of regression under this Chairman surely makes him surplus to requirements?

You have to decide who is responsible for performance at Spurs.

At the moment:

All the good things are not levy’s responsibility.

All the bad things are levy’s responsibility.

That’s not really consistent.

Levy admitted having the final say on transfers in and transfers out.

He does his best for the club apparently :dembelelol:

He also hires and fires all the staff.

What am I missing?

You attributed our success to Poch, not Levy. Why is that?

If transfers are your only focus and Levy is responsible…then Levy is also responsible for Lloris, Dembelé, Alli, Vertonghen, Alderweirald, Walker, Rose, academy investment they produced Kane, Son… etc etc

So every criticism has a corresponding compliment.

Incredible work, no?

Bale, VDV, VDV, Romero, Porro, Modric, Sarr, Kulusevski & Bentancur (who were a huge reason we got CL that year) Kudus, Maddison.....

The biggest contribution Levy made to Poch's success (other than hiring him in the first place of course), was allowing him to bin off a bunch of wasters at a loss following his first season in charge. That cemented the culture shift that brought so much more out of an under-invested team.

Because Levy replaced the previous two managers, (AVB and Sherwood), and the next 5 managers, (Jose, Mason, Nuno, Conte and Ange.

:gallashmm:
Levy wanted Van Gaal and an agreement was in place , he then told Levy to jog on for Utd , this was how we got Poch . Jol got the job cos Santini walked after 10 games . Two of his best managers were far from a well executed strategy, he was scrambling as usual to rectify getting it wrong . Even Harry was a save us from relegation panic hire , 2 points from 8 games under Ramos , but at least he was the first choice on Levy’s shitting his pants list .
