Deep down I know. I think everything including the stadium has all been a sham for them and it's never been about success on the pitch. It's just now they've pumped Levy and talked the talk they've nowhere else to go so the rhetoric since Levy's sacking is going to have much more consequence. It'll turn very toxic very quick on them if this descends into another cluster fuck of a season. And there'll be no second rate Europa (compared to CL) to save them this season.

Yeah the huge reduction in wages to turnover and the distinct lack of quality that has brought to the playing side of the club,whilst being one of the most profitable and richest clubs in the world speaks volumes. Frank is a better coach than ange and it makes sense as to why he is brought in now. So they can comfortably stay in the league while maintaining the status quo of how we've been run (and the general level of player we have and look at) the last several years and they can milk the club some more until they finally sell up and line their pockets.
I Think they've been waiting for daddy to die or get to the point he's at now where he's not strong mentally as he once was and they're starting to manoeuvre to get all those £££££££ in the bank.

I don’t think it’s any coincidence that Levy was canned after the transfer window was closed!
They had their people in place, see what he does, and levy went and hanged himself.
He must have been appalling behind the scenes.
They’d had plenty of time to assess his performance.
If they’d wanted to make an impact and Levy was holding them back as they’ve intimated, they could have fired him early in the summer and made a bigger splash in the transfer window.
I’d believe the rhetoric they’re currently peddling if that were the case!
