ENIC In or ENIC Out

To some degree we have been a zombie club since the stadium opened.

ENIC’s entire model was to use the fanbase/club to generate cash and debt to build a world class stadium and training ground to increase the price of the asset.

Once that was achieved the entire goal was met. Beyond that point there was no real vision. ENIC could have sold the club a few years back for £4-5bn with all the land to redevelop around the ground they own, the stadium, NFL, events, brand name etc. instead they let the main entity within it rot and now they risk losing maybe half a billion or more on the value.

Greed.

This was the team ENIC were building. They didn’t play a single fixture together, and probably never will.

It’s seems they went in big for Seymenyo in the summer also, but he only wanted City and chose to wait.

They had young players ready to take over next few seasons in grey, tel, Odobert, Bergvall, Kinsey, Xavi, Vuskocic

I bet on paper they thought they had it all sorted!!!!

I expect them to be much more stupid than expected. They won't be getting anywhere more than 3Bn now. Not even close. If they have offers to buy at 2.2-2.5Bn and still not biting, especially when we are down, they can carry on holding the worthless club value and see their cash flushed down like shit.

At this point, I am starting to accept we are going down, and I rather we do, honestly. So what's better than to see them suffer? It will be so joyful.

My hope is that the ire from the fans coupled with the aggro from this appalling campaign might make them more interested in selling.

Say if they are currently valuing the club at £4bn and a buyer took a long term view and offered £3.3-3.5bn they may sell.

I’m hoping if it’s a petro-state backed consortium that has money coming out their ears, they may see this as the time to strike and be willing to pay over the odds in the thought of buying decent players and bouncing us straight back up.

I’ve seen the long term view taken in acquisitions I’ve been involved with, where the buyer has paid over the odds to acquire a business they’ve been desperate for.

We can but hope! 🙏

can't see that happening
a petro state could buy another EPL team for say £750M and build new ground etc and do it there way,

We, being the football team.
I'm sure the money off the pitch has been rolling in.

That's a fucking woeful team.

can't see ENIC selling the club, they think its worth £4bn so why sell for £2.5Bn
who will buy us we will need to buy a lot of championship style players next season, and if we go up at first time we will need to get EPL players so another load of money

At least John Terry’s just bought Colchester; so hopefully it won’t be him .

Reasons to be cheerful and all that .

I remember when he started angling for a move to City after giving us 10 years even though it was blatantly clear Levy and ENIC were taking the piss and were never serious about providing a quality team around him.

The overwhelming majority on here disgustingly turned on Harry when their anger and frustration should have once again been aimed at Levy and the board.

One of the most shameful periods in Fighting Cock history.

All true.

Add to that, THEY are the ones who always had the thought "We are Tottenham, we are too big to be relegated".

They NEVER thought it would happen and were happy to collect from the cash cow that it the PL, and have their staff manage the events in the stadium. Not one drop of ambition for the football. The Levy dismissal is only power struggle and has nothing to do with football.

I was thinking yesterday that this season I've felt more pride watching Kane smash it at Bayern than I have watching my own team FFS

And what a mediocre team that would be. Every single one of them worse than our best XI in the 2015-2019 era.

At a push, Kudus, Maddison and Bentancur are better backups than Lamela, Winks and Sissoko.

I’m going to disagree a bit on that one. Harry let himself down with how he behaved and also City were playing silly buggers with their offers . There is plenty of blame on Levy and the board, but they weren’t the only ones at fault in this one.

Because he tried to engineer a move away to another club? Behave 😆
