We finished 12th the year before ENIC joined.

We've finished 2nd under them and got to a CL final.

Now I know you're trying to paint a narrative, but live in reality. We've improved under them undoubtedly but have regressed in the past season and half.

We still haven't regressed to the level of 2001. So to say we haven't improved is factually incorrect.

Example...Brighton were in the Div 3 in 2001 and are now in the Premiership. They haven't won any ''major'' trophy in that time. So by your logic that is not an improvement?
The latter lol.
I worry that even though we're his golden goose, it could actually get worse when he's pushing up daisies and the next person steps up.
Don’t see how anyone can be less interested or involved

Under 3 different owners. 2 of which left the club in debt and one of whom left financial irregularities that could have got us relegated.

Take a look at the mess at Derby County to see how well off we are by comparison:

Who cares about those northern messes, the comparison is our rivals; Chelsea and Woolwich. We are a laughing stock vs both under ENIC, tally up their trophies

Will genuinely be surprised if Paratici is still here this time next year. He’s gonna get royally pissed off with Levy haggling over a few million. One of his interviews said “ sometimes you just have to pay the little bit extra if it’s a player you really want”

How do you think the system will work? Levy will only be haggling with Paratici. A budget will be given by Levy to Paratici and it is up to him how he uses it. If he spends extra on 1 player he may have to cut back on others. Whilst it will be net spend that is quoted, not sure if any leaway to buy first as there is always a risk of a sale falling through. We have got away from Levy annoying the selling club by haggling but Paratici will have figures he knows he cannot go over. Paratici may have to go back to Levy to get more money and how successful he will be will be important. Paratici may well not last long but that is also dependant on him bringing in better players than has been our recent experience.

I just don’t think levy will ever sign off a deal where we pay what the selling club ask. He literally has to knock something off for his ego even if it’s 50p. The point is however it’s structured, Paratici will just get pissed with the process. He comes across as someone that likes to get things done and not mess about for weeks. Literally the opposite to Levy.

Just saw saw Disney are moving 2k of their staff to joe Lewis new city in Florida Lake Nona. It’s doing unbelievable well he must be making an absolute fortune off it. Really is a futuristic city amazing place. Must say the majority of Tavistock projects exude excellence as they have done with the stadium. If only they could manifest a tad more of that on the football side of things.

It’s such a fucking shame. It’s all about having a big shiny excellent property portfolio. I’m gutted to my core that we almost achieved amazing things under Poch but always just fell short. And then it fizzled out due to a lack of foresight about the people who make a club. The manager, the players & most importantly, the fans. We simply don’t matter to a property investment giant like ENIC. It’s all about the land grab. It won’t matter if we are mid table to people like Lewis. He has concerts, boxing, American football etc to make his money on. “Anchor tenants”. That’s what we are.

ENIC only real problem is balancing the highest ST prices with giving just enough optimism that people will continue to go. It’s a delicate balance tbh especially with improving teams like Leicester Villa etc. We could quite easily be 8th -12th before you know it.
