Well, it was nice whilst it lasted. Multiple long standing issues coming to a head and forming the perfect storm that will continue as let’s face it, the worse is yet to come. Some posters stating we will become like Everton - I can see this but it’s the last 4 years and decisions from the top which are truely to blame.

No problems with Kane leaving for trophies and CL football, did his best with what he had to play with. Breaks my heart we had such an amazing team, identify and spirit only for Levy to make the worst decisions failing the football side of the business. I hope he’s ready for the downturn that’s coming - those years of enjoying the improved brand status and revenue that follows will be damaged for the coming years by a sub standard and difficult to market team with no Kane or Son.

I don’t like seeing our players boo’d but fans have had enough and it’s a reflection on the boards inability to get the footballing side right.
Too many average players comfortable in 5* surroundings that shouldn’t be at the club or outstayed their welcome and unable to move forward.

Glad the fans realise the board is to blame and the anger needs to be redirected to Levy and co. We struggled to get a manager in for 70+ days in 2021 and now no sensible one should come bear us - stuck with the same dross players who’ve seen off many of managers now. Hated his football and tactics but Conte was right with what he said.

I am sick and tired of watching these underperforming players who’ve proven they are not good enough, kept around or give. New deals because the club have an inability to sell or do so at a loss. It was bad planning, bad recruitment and a reluctance to pay that little bit more for quality to kick us on - they care more about the property portfolio.

I won’t be going again or paying a penny until changes are made. Pressure needs to be applied to Levy and the board that he steps down and lets proven football people run that side of the business and have a clear strategy and vision for success. Won’t invest? Then time to go and sell up. Refuse to do so, fans need to act, make them uncomfortable.

We are a banter club now that deserves much better decision making. Other clubs do it on far less budgets - but they don’t have a tone deaf egomaniac wanting to control all aspects.

It’s going to get much worse.

How can Levy survive this?

He's gotten every major decision wrong since before Poch was sacked, probably including the sacking.

His transfer business is mostly trash. We've got Sanchez being subbed as a sub, Ndombele on loan somewhere, a record signing. He buys players the manager doesn't want, he won't replace the ones who clearly can't hack it anymore.

He hired Mourinho and then sacked him before a cup final

He hired Nuno

He sacked Conte with no plan, appointed his assistant to do the same things, and it's all gone horribly wrong.

He can't see that Paratici needs to be sacked when the man is banned from doing just about anything

His decision to play it safe with Stellini and go for the Levy Trophy of finishing 4th may have us totally out of Europe.

And if you had to guess, who's going to be on the touch line Sunday? 90% it's Stellini, a man who offers nothing different than Conte and appears to be flailing.

No other club ownership in any sport would tolerate this level of farce...

you look at brighton's management they already have the next manager in mind, they have worked out which new player will replace the one they sell, that is how a top owner works, they think of what could happen and prepare for it,
what does Levy do ? well sacked Poch and bring in Jose the next day that was planning, but for me Poch needed to go the season before yes we got to CL final, but many games that season were awful
sacks Jose before a final and gives Mason the Job madness ( who's ego was that about jose or Levy ?)
Sacks Conte and brings in ?

Don’t you think the self imposed transfer embargo affected Poch? The bloke was demoralised & said as much.

the question needs to be asked why sack Conte and leave his No2 in charge ?
Because the players apparently like him, he did well in those interim games and Levy likes money.

Sacking the entire coaching team with Conte and hiring someone new would cost a few million quid until the end of the season. Losing Conte alone makes no difference to what you were going to pay.

The really sad thing is I'll privately celebrate Harry winning a trophy. Whoever it's with!.

And as a 4th generation Spurs fan I can't believe I'm actually typing this.

I despise ENIC and Daniel Levy for the very fact I feel like this. They have destroyed my footballing soul.
You are not alone in that. I'd rather do anything else than watch spurs right now and that's down to the fact we have a chairman and owner who wont see the job through and consistently make the wrong decisions (disastrous decisions at times) for the football team. It's just not good enough

Not saying anything that hasn’t been said a million times here But looking at Boehley (who is worse than Levy) - it really strikes me that owners need to set a budget and get out of the way to let the football people make the football decisions.

Levy is an owner - not a football person. He needs to stay away from the training ground, the locker room and DoF offices. Just give people a budget and let the experts make the transfer, contract and hiring decisions within Levy’s budget. Based on All or Nothing and media reports, Levy is way way way too involved.

Levy should 100% concentrate on things like getting the Go-Kart track up and running. But I suppose it could be worse, at least Levy isn’t taking advice from James Corden ( who supports West Ham) who our next manager should be.

These are the facts; Levy and enic would be lauded as a success if this was purely a business. Allegedly we're a football club and they are judged on tangible results and trophies. We have had none in real terms in 22 years. Ok so enic have made lots of money off the back of THFC. If they were open and honest about that being their sole aim things wouldn't be so bad. But to lie and mislead fans on a grandiose scale that they want to turn us into "the best team in Europe" is little short of a giant con.

This club has turned toxic, whoever booed Sanchez today should hang their fucking heads in shame.

The fact that some of our "fans" would boo a player whilst staying quiet over the cunt in charge who is lording himself over the club like an untouchable deity makes me SICK.

You are essentially just paying to support ENIC if you're one of those people that booed Sanchez today, why are you fucking there? So you boo him but not the man who hired him and pays his wage?

It's always the players or managers isn't it? Never the fucking greedy accountant sitting in his box of privilege looking down upon his subjects from his lofty perch.

Don't boo our players, boo the fucking twat that hired them and hired the managers and who has created this utterly toxic mess at this club.

Anybody defending Daniel Levy on here when it comes to football matters from this point forward is getting put on ignore, I want you to know I think you're every bit as guilty for the failure of this football club if you defend him on his footballing decisions.
Well said sir

An interesting summer ahead. :kanehand:

At least this place will be interesting.

I think it will be shit. There’s so many players to get rid of but they won’t sell them because they’ll want stupid prices for them like normal. That in turn will be the excuse for not bringing players in.

Add that on to another inevitable inept managerial hunt and appointment and it’s got the recipe to be a disastrous window. Obviously none of that could happen but which would we all put our money on?

Kane is obviously off. The timing will depend on who he wants to go to.

If he wants UTD, I could see a protracted saga and Daniel agreeing to a record transfer. It will need to be over a 100 million. He’s such a pathetic twerp; he will have to have the satisfaction of a ‘personal win’ over UTD.

That said, Kane might fancy City on a free, who could perhaps pair him with Haaland.

That’s the move I’d make if I were him. Got a feeling it might happen too as I’m not sure how long Haaland is going to hang around at City.

There were a lot of anti levy chants during the game. The most I’ve heard. All the noise about the booing of Sanchez won’t deflect the reporters away from that. Or it shouldn’t anyway.
