ENIC In or ENIC Out

Maybe a case to meet you halfway and say ENIC are a victim of some of their success financially.

Top 6 and the plucky underdogs was a reasonable target when we were in WHL.

You can't have:
the best stadium in Europe, maybe the world,
the best facilities in Europe,
the highest season ticket prices and...
refuse to sell the best players in the world like Harry Kane,

then get away with saying Top 6 and plucky underdogs is an acceptable outcome.

Brighton are plucky underdogs, even Villa now.

Spurs and ENIC need to find the courage to admit that winning is now the acceptable outcome and find a way to really compete to achieve it. There is nowhere to hide from that pressure now.

Conte was right about that. This club doesn't want to accept the pressure of being winners.

Well, like it or not, the noise from those fans in the arena made it abundantly clear now that winning is the only acceptable outcome and winning in style as well.

Levy and ENIC need to deal with that pressure or get out of the kitchen if they are too small-time to hack it.
I think we can maintain that position of underdog. We are up against so much might on the league and cups.

High ticket prices are driven by a few things, the stadium, being in London, etc. But paying high ticket prices doesn’t equal always being a success. In the same way as paying the highest transfer fees doesn’t. We have to remember who we are up against and we won’t always win. A foundation is being built to take the club to the next level and i for one am thankful I’m not going into each season expecting us to finish mid table.

This club has turned toxic, whoever booed Sanchez today should hang their fucking heads in shame.

The fact that some of our "fans" would boo a player whilst staying quiet over the cunt in charge who is lording himself over the club like an untouchable deity makes me SICK.

You are essentially just paying to support ENIC if you're one of those people that booed Sanchez today, why are you fucking there? So you boo him but not the man who hired him and pays his wage?

It's always the players or managers isn't it? Never the fucking greedy accountant sitting in his box of privilege looking down upon his subjects from his lofty perch.

Don't boo our players, boo the fucking twat that hired them and hired the managers and who has created this utterly toxic mess at this club.

Anybody defending Daniel Levy on here when it comes to football matters from this point forward is getting put on ignore, I want you to know I think you're every bit as guilty for the failure of this football club if you defend him on his footballing decisions.
Agree in general except for the distinction about the boo boys/girls...anyone who would boo their own player would by their very nature turn on their own mother if they weren't happy with them.

I've never done it but I accept the right of those who fork out their hard earned to show their dissatisfaction (within reason) in whichever fashion they choose.

The problem lies with those that believe anything other than getting behind the team for 90 minutes or so is going to help rather than concentrating on bald midgets and their offspring.

Lbh the vocal support generally is indicative of the our style of play = piss poor. I'm noticing more and more of late that the regular ST holders are putting their tickets on the exchange but there is no shortage of takers atm and although I can see a fairly high turnover of renewal opt outs prior to June1st again there will b e no shortage of mugs to take their place.

Despite what some contend Levy is removable, ENIC however is another matter and (like the Glazers) would only move on if the numbers are right.

Do you have a ST?

Looool this fucking bollocks again.

Woolwich and Newcastle are ahead of us and playing better football than us. Woolwich have less revenue than us & Newcastle's squad has had far, far less invested in it and Eddie Howe is at the helm. Right below us are Villa & Brighton ready to pass us imminently, they have far less revenue, play much better football. Brighton are in the semi final of the FA cup, too.

So stop this 'woe is us, we can't compete, oh the oil money!' shit. It's painful. We spent 100 odd million in the summer & spend tens of millions on sacking coaches. We're one of the richest clubs in the world, with the best stadium, charging the highest prices. We're not an underdog.

Even on the European stage - out to A.C Milan. Compare their wage bill & spending to ours, its not even close. But we're a plucky underdog, yeah? Can't do any better than this. It's a joke how much shit you want other fans to swallow whilst acting like we're asking to compete neck & neck with City. A total joke.

That's not what I said.

End of the day, you may want to maintain the underdog tag and have the club avoid the pressure to win but as we saw from the noise in the stadium yesterday, the pressure if here whether the club wants it or not.

Either they can handle that pressure or they can't. The option of wanting it it now gone.

4 managers in 4 years

No Manager right now
DOF banned from operating in football
Star player almost into the last year of his contract

What is this foundation you speak of ?

And next level ?

LOL

We’ve established we are looking at the third level.
We can’t compete with levels 1 & 2. Top 4 places. We get there we are overachieving.

Our aim should be 5th.

Top level = city / Newcastle / previous Chelsea
Second level = United / Liverpool
Third level - us soon
Fourth level - us now / woolwich / Chelsea soon level 5 probably.

In other words wait for jam tomorrow. 2 decades of being promised jam tomorrow now.
You can't aspire to be the best team in Europe (yes Levy said that a few years back), and then pretend you are underdogs and poor, the latter is particularly bizarre considering we're one of the richest clubs in the world.
Levy routinely lies and the mugs fall for it every time. What about the porker saying once the stadium was up and making money then the ambition would come? Or how about once we get regular CL football the big players will come?
The people that try and make excuses for this charlatan are as much of a problem as he is. You are not Spurs fans you are enic fans.

Being ambitious doesn’t automatically take you to number one. Progress is difficult and to pretend there are easy solutions comes across as entitlement.

It was a five year plan to bring regular Champions League football and increase the WHL capacity to 44,000.

Five years later Spurs had lasagne, increasing season ticket prices and a season ticket waiting list.

The Supporters Trust played a blinder.

Then cut your cloth accordingly and dont charge ridiculous ticket prices for dog shit football.
You wouldnt go to a top restaurant and pay top dollar for burger and chips.
That's exactly what match day fans have to put up with. Something someone like yourself wouldn't understand living in Paris and not going week in week out.
Before you come back with some daft comment about 'dont go then' think about how invested a lot of us are in Tottenham Hotspur FC.

My first game was in 1983 and I've been going ever since

Im afraid that if you live in London you do pay top dollar for identical goods and services all the time.

You pay 68% more for things than people in Newcastle and you do it every day. You only get paid 30% more than people in Newcastle.

Will you go and live in Newcastle now? Of course not. Because it’s far more complicated than that.

Any other job would see a change in chairman and board members after what’s happened in the last couple of years. But because all their pockets are being lined nicely, none of them give a shit.

Any job where the shareholders’ pockets are being “lined nicely” will NOT see a change in leadership. What a clueless comment!

The problem is that since 1983 footballers wages and the money involved in football has increased at a far more significant amount than the average wage.

You can’t compare 1983 to 2023. It’s pointless.

Like looking at the breakdown of our UEFA cup team / squad of 1984 and replicating that next year. Those days have gone.

Harry Kane earns £200k a week before tax just from Spurs.
If you earn 1% of that you are doing quite well in life.

That’s just 1 player. Funding this game is something I just can’t justify.

Insanity.

It's too late to take the moral high ground.

You ring turkeys' necks for a living.
