I don't. When clubs with less revenue than Spurs outspend us WITHOUT the non football related wonga the evidence suggests the complete opposite.
Unless, of course by the FC you mean all the other crap filtered through the clubs name such as real estate, karting tracks and cinemas.
Yeah there could be some of that I guess… shell affiliates. I guess Levy would argue that an investment in go karts generates more rev for the FC but feels like a distraction

You're the kind or person who thinks wrestling is real aren't you.

Apologies if it's been posted already but this is a good article by Ally Gold. As much as some people may call him a shill, he doesn't pull punches in this one.

I really am concerned with just how foolish our approach was on Friday in briefing the press on Nagelsmann. It's not the first time the club's comms have been shit and I'm astonished that someone is likely well paid (and represents a massively expensive asset) and remains crap at their job.

It might be that Tottenham decided the German was not the right man for the current rebuild - there have been questions about his man-management in his homeland - although it's difficult to understand why that decision would only be arrived at almost two months after Conte left the club. Also it would have to be asked why it was not worth at least a proper interview to fully discover Nagelsmann's vision for Spurs if he - as they say - did not turn them down?

That's why people will doubt this sudden move. From the outside Spurs needed Nagelsmann more than the German needed them, so the attempt to paint this as a 'nah, we have more suitable candidates' situation fell flat on its face regardless of however things actually went down.

Either way Tottenham would end up looking incompetent for not considering such a strong candidate or unambitious for being rejected by him.

No doubt the club sounded out Nagelsmann via his agent so they can claim they never directly spoke.

Nagelsmann could have asked for the most ridiculous terms money wise, the ability to walk for free if Real Madrid came calling. I.E. a contract that nobody in their right mind would agree to.

Levy’s problem is nobody now believes a word about anything he says, even if he came out and explain this as the reasons for the Nagelsmann statement.

His reputation is in tatters with the fanbase, I wonder if he even realises this in his Ivory tower. Whether he actually cares is another matter.

The negative PR surrounding the club can’t help matters when negotiating sponsorship deals and other clubs know Spurs are desperate.

We are a mess, it also feels like those upstairs are treating it as a fire they are allowing to burn itself out rather than trying to fight.

What is a high risk manager in your book?

Low risk got us closest to winning the Premier League we've ever had.

Have you not been paying attention under this ownership?
Doesn't matter how low or how high the risk of the manager was, our problem is our low risk Chairman and Board. Can't give a manager Donkeys to manage and blame their failures on the managers 'Risk'. Any manager would be High Risk if they have, Dier, Sanchez, Lenglett, Davis and Tanganga as 2 of their 3 CB choices.

Final home game this Saturday so it should include his letter to the fanbase, right? Interesting to see if he's actually willing to show some humility in it.

Ironically, both times we have brought in coaches that are bigger than the club (Conte, Jose) and given them and their mates control, it has been a disaster.

I have a feeling that ENIC will want the new coach to be less egotistical and confronting.

Appreciate you sharing. Not anything to argue about there.

I just find it baffling how little forward thinking there seems to be as a club from a football standpoint. Clearly Levy is very forward thinking from a business standpoint. It's not that hard to have freaking contingency plans with people you already know and like. Brighton had De Zerbi lined up. Just more example of why he needs to get TF away from the football side. Not even just the laughable manager searches. But the DOF. It's not a secret Paratici was being investigated. We even had time after we appealed. Yet it seems like we are the last to know. And the search for the next guy doesn't even begin until the last guy is fired.
