Not sure what you read in my post that elicited this response?
I never said Trippier leaving was a problem. Didn’t say he wasn’t underperforming.
I would say Levy has a hand in us not replacing Trippier properly. Or even not replacing Walker properly. Or any other player properly. But it’s a hand. There’s many hands at play when it comes to recruitment. I’m just not that keen on blaming one wee fella when there’s plenty involved and whilst life is hardly full of definites.
Anyone can post anything they like. I just wonder what in post he was responding to.I honestly love this thread
People see words in posts, respond to it and completely go off on their own tangent![]()

Trippier certainly mentioned being booed by the fans over a period when he was self admittedly not performing that well. Honestly cannot recall him citing that as a reason for leaving though.
We do have a soft fanbase, yet it’s a vociferous one. So many in here and in the ground that are like the pissed up chancer in the pub, giving it big mouth to everyone. But you all know that when it comes to the crunch, he’d shit himself and do nothing.
Same here. Lots of shouting, booing and singing at the ground. So many angry people on here. And very few actually doing anything about the situation they claim to be so angry about. All mouth.
Surely his hand should only be on the financial package . i am afraid nothing will convince me he does not think of himself as someone who can judge a player . Yes others are involved but he should be locked in the basement until the transfer of agreed funds is required. Not sure what you read in my post that elicited this response?

Anything about my post you particularly disagree with?
I’m not Levy anything. Said for a couple of years now that he gets until the end of this transfer window and then I’ll make my mind up.
What control did they and their mates have you doughnut?Ironically, both times we have brought in coaches that are bigger than the club (Conte, Jose) and given them and their mates control, it has been a disaster.
I have a feeling that ENIC will want the new coach to be less egotistical and confronting.

But on here, you’ve got to be one side of the other apparently.
Aye, players get booed at many clubs. Not got a huge issue with letting players know they are underperforming.Isn't that the case at the majority of football clubs though when a player isn't performing well?
Not saying it is justified but I am simply saying that we aren't the only club that has people who boo their players, that seems a pretty consistent theme in football.
I don't disagree with your sentiment on this however, that does kind of describe a lot of our supporters, all mouth and no action.
Again, I don't entirely disagree with what you're saying here either, however, Levy made it very clear in the All or nothing documentary (in reference to Pochettino) that he had the final say about hiring him and went on to say that he got "lucky" with his appointment.
We also have numerous accounts, one from someone who worked directly under Poch just a few weeks ago that Levy has a lot of influence when it comes to signings, we also know he has actively turned down signings against the wishes of the people doing the deals and the manager.
So, based on his own words, I don't think it's a stretch to believe that Levy ultimately decides, more often than not, who stays and who goes at this club and considering he is a megalomaniac I wouldn't find it hard to believe.
Lots of hands involved but at the end of the day, only two that really matter.
I don't understand this either so you will have to clarify for me, maybe I am being an idiot here and not understanding.
When you say "I have been saying for a couple of years now he gets until the end of this transfer window" my question is, why this transfer window in particular?
And how did you know that this upcoming transfer window would be so imperative years ago? For all you knew we would have been a success under Conte and this transfer window would have been irrelevant?
That doesn't make any logical sense to me? So is this the final window and if he fails then that's it? You want him gone? Also, what is considered a success or failure to you in this window?
I mean, our supporters are so forgiving that I don't think it's going to take much for them to believe Levy is doing a good job again, so having these ultimatums about particular scenarios "or else" seems pointless because the goalposts have been moving ever since the stadium was built imo.
A lot of faux outrage in here just because it's the cool thing to do I guess
Same people will be back on the bandwagon come the start of next season![]()
