Just read only that our new Harry Kane mural is going to have a QR code for Spurs Play so the club can make money.

I know the mural is true but anyone know if the QR code is? Pretty shocking if true.

I heard a rumour that the Skywalk™️ abseil original plan to abseil down on to the pitch was changed to the car park outside so that punters could be charged again if they wanted back in.

:levywtf:

"You've done the Skywalk and we have your money now fuck off back home in the car you gullible cunts!"

:levylol:

I am calling it now and I hope I am wrong but I am willing to bet hard money on Daniel Levy still having major involvement in football decisions and it will derail any manager that we hire.

He can't help himself, he just has to have his fingerprints on everything and it's the reason we have continued to go backwards since Poch left.

He can't help himself, control freak , he will still be fiddling and fucking it up somewhere.

If you find a mug to take that bet put me in touch with them please ,I am looking to retire

I am so cynical of Levy now I can only ever see bad motives in everything he does

1) He is under pressure to hire a DOF and take a large step back
2) Logic says hire a DOF with a remit to hire a manager
3) Rumours only , but we seem focused on a manager pre DOF hire
4) Cynical view: Hire a manager pre DOF , then claim manager does not want a DOF
5) Equally cynical view: Munn hired to do more football admin bullshit , leaving time for Levy to step forward rather than back in football decisions

The chances of the above being true are remote to non existent, however Levy’s behaviour means I find it now impossible to believe he will willingly step back . If he can engineer a way not to he will .Paranoia admittedly but that is the disconnect I feel with the club under ENIC
He won't step back, people thought that under Mourinho and Conte, if anything he is going to be more hands on.

Spam on the verge of winning a European trophy, while we once again finish another season winning nothing.

Our history is built on winning cups, essentially the ECL is like the cup winners cup. We are too scared to compete in any cup competition that isn't the CL.
Spurs chased cup competitions in the 60's, 70's and 80's because it was lucrative.

Since the 90's it has become more lucrative to finish higher up the league table and qualify for the Champions League.

Top 4 is the modern trophy win in terms of revenue.

You just don't get a day out or a tin pot.

At the moment we can't turn our nose up at any trophy whether it's the champions league or the 2 Bob farmers championships
We've only won the League Cup in the last 32 years.

In the 70's and 80's the League Cup was sneered at.

Domestic cups are a decent consolation prize for a top four team that don't win the league.

If you win a cup but finish outside the top 4 you have had a poor season if you regard yourself as a big club.

I'm not saying I like it.

Just sayin.

We didn't chase those cup competitions because of revenue, we chased them for the glory
Players with ambition want more than finishing 4th.

I agree.. I hate what football has become.
I hate that we now have 2 teams owned by middle Eastern countries and 1 originally owned by Putins puppet who probably still pumps money into them.

In the future it will be clubs sponsored (owned) by Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Russia fighting for everything whilst the rest of us have to suck it up.

Sadly; that is not true.

Spurs definitely did prioritise winning cups ahead of winning the league title.

They did it to chase the extra ticket revenue and tv money that cup runs gave a club in those days.

Spurs had never lost at Wembley until the 1982 League Cup final against Liverpool when we 'Spursed' it up in the last few minutes.

It was a better sport when ticket revenue drove the business.

That is ridiculous, the cups have never been above winning the league, we win the league, we'd be in Europe's biggest competition. There was much more prestige and revenue from winning the league.
