ENIC In or ENIC Out

Look, I don’t get into these Levy or ENIC in/out arguments, but I think you may be fighting the notion that you know this isn’t a great move by them but don’t want to admit it.
I'm not fighting anything, I already stated that.

What a strange take on the discussion.
I have no problem admitting that it's not a great move by them.

I'm just trying to understand why they'd undermine the good PR they got for not increasing ST (when 17 PL clubs did) by doing this bollocks when they get little or no benefit (money) from it.

It's madness.

Are the ENIC SPG upping their gang stalking activities in recent days?

I'd prefer replies from our ENIC out contingent but if the SPG want to leave their little kisses on the bottom of the tab that is also fine.

This beggars belief, honestly. On the back of a horrendous season, with ENIC out gaining momentum, what on earth are they thinking raising ticket prices, let alone by 20%?

ENIC have completely created a rod for their own back. God forbid we lose our opening match and the vitriol towards the club will be next level.

Just popped over to the Trust's forum, strangely there's no mention of the ticket price increases on there at all. 🤔

It's so short sighted and stupid. Can they really not see how this is only going to end in disaster?
it won’t end in disaster, they will get away with it. It’s immaterial and not needed but it won’t see tickets go unsold although if they do, I understand that resale won’t be released which is good as it forceS ST holders to actually go the games rather than flip to Tarquin and Esme, or Yuu Suk-Mee from Korea

He’s been a shit executive for years that skates by off the reputation as a “tough negotiator” when in reality he’s just an idiot.

Go back and look at transfer dealings in recent years. It’s shocking bar the Son purchase of… 8 years ago now

Because the good PR they got from that was small and didn’t ultimately do a damned thing for them, so 2 million pounds is still 2 million pounds more than they had before. They had to try to derive some increase in revenues so they took the less risky route to do it.

It wasn’t like they didn’t raise prices to help fans out, they did it because it would have been a bloodbath of negativity if they did It for season tickets. This will be a minor bump in the road for them compared to the past couple of years.

This is a huge fuck up by Levy in terms of PR and in other ways.
The monetary gain is negligible in the whole scheme of things.

Some of the disagrees and comments I got show up what a bunch of fucking hypocrites we have on here.

I give the club £0 pounds now. I’m done giving ENIC my cash. But we are short of at least £15m pounds next year and trying to keep Kane. That’s coming from the fans. It always does.

Let’s check facts.

Wembley tickets prices raised, then NWHL prices raised. COVID - no football staff furloughed and released, COVID - Villa game they charged more than any other club. People paid up and were happy to. Think I even saw people saying they would have pays more!!
Prices for the premium tickets are mental. Outside the reach of most I imagine. But yet people on here have happily paid them.

You all bought season tickets and memberships this summer. Nobody was that bothered about all of the above. It didn’t stop you.

At Wembley I was giving my tickets when I couldn’t go to kids at my football club who I knew had never seen Spurs at WHL and never been to Wembley. Due to money.
The prices were already way out of their reach in 2018.
It was literally a once in a lifetime moment for them.

Here I’m seeing people who can afford to go moan about a relatively small increase in pricing. The fact is you can afford it.
There are literally thousands of Spurs fans within 30-40miles of the stadium who have never been to the new stadium as they can’t afford it.

The rise of the global game and demand for tickets has seen to that.

Crocodile tears. Have a look at the bigger picture. You are part of the problem and have been paying these higher prices since 2018. If you’ve not bailed out after all the above what’s your tipping point?

If you care that much next season just don’t give ENIC your cash - but only if you are really that bothered. Someone else will take your seat anyway. It’s the way of the world.

LEVY IN

Why? Already seeing it on here.

Plastics with no interest in spurs. They like Ange.
One guy even confessed to being a fan of a different premier league club.

As someone who has partaken in my own share of football tourism I don’t mind those people paying more.

42k ST holders have had their prices held in a society where everything is costing more. I’m happy for them. Sorry you don’t like that.

Exactly.

Why can't this be the take -

It seems like those already peeved with ENIC are simply ignoring that the Season Ticket prices have been frozen, when ofthn they are the same people complaining that ENIC doesn't care about the real spurs fans who go week in week out.

Yes, it's shit that the price for other tickets have gone up and I feel for those who are being priced out but this is what 'big clubs' do isn't it?

Ah well that's alright then ....

When I'm forking out the best part of 70 quid to watch us lose at home to Luton or Bournemouth this year , I'll console myself with the fact that this is what "Big clubs" do

You're paying for a product/service and moaning about the quality, logic dictates that if you're unhappy with said product or service then you stop paying.

Quite frankly, if you don't like what's on the menu a restaurant then order a takeaway.

With Guns n Roses and Beyoncé , NFL and what ever else we have at the new stadium how are the club short of money?
Even taking into account our paying back of the clubs debt and without European football this season the balance sheets still look a lot better than when we was at the lane, who gives a fuck if you haven’t given these a penny of your cash? Some people want to see the club live and shouldn’t be priced out of doing so when the gain is marginal for the club , it’s just blatant penny pinching and profiteering but you think it’s alright as there will be “less tourists” at the ground ?
The fact we struggled to sell out some games at the lane means there will always be tourists at the new ground , maybe it’s just modern day football in general , the games gone to the dogs!

Some people = you.

I know plenty of people who would love to go to spurs but can’t afford it. And haven’t been able to for 10 years plus.

But you can still afford to go can’t you??

Fucking hypocrisy on here.
