It all does seem very strange.
I just can't fathom why a bunch of middle aged / elderly football fans invest so much of their precious time protecting and defending a couple of billionaire businessman who's only interest in football is the money
they can make from it.Daniel Levy himself admitted they only got involved to exploit it's global popularity.
Each to their own, of course, but does seem an unusual way to spend your free time.
They massively increase ticket prices in the midst of the CoL crises and at the end of our most humiliating season in years, and on the back of Levy tightening his grip as the leagues best paid chairman .......And they try and justify it.
I mean, . WHY would you even do that???
It's both for me.
To say he isn't interested or doesn't care about the team doesn't ring true.
I think would love to see us succeed and absolutely wants to win silverware for the club.
I genuinely don't feel the current lot in charge are the pantomime villians they are made out to be.
Inept at times, lacking some football knowledge, loving a good deal. All fair and true.
Surely there are better, less risky ventures out there you can get involved in 'just for the money'.

Mentioned it loads of times and 100% agree with you. The naming rights is only a thing to bash Levy/ENIC, if we got a naming rights deal, Levy would be bashed for the wrong company or too cheap a deal, etc, etc.
The amount of times 'Tottenham Hotspur Stadium' is mentioned for football, NFL, boxing, concerts and so on is worth a fortune I'd imagine.
Perhaps worth more than the £25m a year that was rumoured from Amazon or Google?

From April, a couple of weeks after conte was sacked.
Turns out football does move quickly.
If you polled it the vast majority would still be Levy Out. Most are still angry at Levy, they just want to be optimistic and like Ange.
The Dele Alli thing supposedly, him coming out and revealing he's been suffering have now made people check their behaviour towards certain people, I guess he's referring to how people speak about Levy.
Quite a few I'd say.
AFAIK only Chelsea has admitted to poor on-pitch performance last season as a reason (in part) for freezing the price of season tickets:17 clubs have increased ST prices this year.
I can't be certain but I don't think they've all won something.

You'd be right if we still had the highest ST prices in the PL , but we don't.
Not true. We have a handful of cheaper ST’s but it’s less than 5%.
So we don't in fact have the highest ST prices.

It's strange to me how you Levy/Enic.......let's say backers.....are not more bothered than you are....everyone sees us as a laughing stock mate. I have a Chav supporting cousin, Spammer supporting brother in law, Woolwich supporting best mate (yeah i know).....they all take the piss....even the brother in law now........They don't spend nowhere near as much us, but still increase prices.

If you guys are content with it that's fine, i just don't understand your acceptance.....most of the Spurs fans i talk to are very frustrated though.
I think the main thing is just to accept their viewpoint is different. We can debate it - nothing wrong with that (with a healthy dollop of banter of course) - but we're not going to change their minds. Not after all that's happened of late. They fundamentally back Levy/ENIC. And some of them -

It's the false narratives, the outright lies and the twisting of things that anniys me.
If people are really serious about getting Enic out, then do something about it other than posting endlessly on a forum.

Nobody is saying that they are "content" .

Some of us believe that Levy doesn't pick the teams that lose semi finals, finals and get turned over by champo teams in cup games.
And before anyone says "Who employs the managers and buys the players" I'd just say that nobody, from either side, said "Well done Levy for getting us to finals, including our first ever CL final"
You can't have it both ways, either Levy is responsible for all the good as well as the bad, or he's not at all.
