This is your entire problem, you twist comments just to form some sort of argument that I'm defending the board, it's really unhealthy and it makes it hard to debate with you because you have a default mindset, it's actually really weird. I think you struggle with the fact that you can praise and criticize something/someone at the same time, maybe it's either/or in your world but we are actually capable of having more than 1 school of thought.
I've actually given you an insight as to why I'm more relaxed than you at our board. I'm merely saying that the period before they came was a mess and I've seen it worse than this so in my mind they've actually done a good job taking us to where we were before to where we are now.
I don't know how old you are or what era you lived through but I lived through that period, yeah winning Cups was great but we had fleeting moments largely in a period of shite. If you ask any Spurs fans what they remember mostly about that period the cup memories will come up favorably but the amount of shit we had to put up with, the players that played for us, the results and the performances stick as long in the memory as well.
The feeling around the club just wasn't great, we were essentially a team going nowhere fast, people talk about ENIC not having a plan in place but you would be tearing your hair out under Sugar. They talk about ENIC having 0 ambition but this guy was just happy for the club to tick along without any investment, it was painful because you just knew that we weren't going to improve hence why our captain left us for our rivals, imagine if that happened today, I think most of you would have actually got up of your arses and actually protested.
This doesn't mean I'm playing down trophies nor am I defending them for the mess that we're in now , I know our trophy haul is pathetic and they ought to take as much blame as anyone on that front but I simply cannot forget where we were before they came in hence why I see the good side in them even if some people don't.

Honest question… do we have the highest average?
You’d need to weight them for the number of available seats at each price point and I don’t think we have that info.
Even then I think a median is the fairest comparison. You’d expect the best football stadium in the world to have world class corporate facilities and the most expensive high end prices in the world. At that point you’re not paying for 90 minutes of football - you’re paying for an experience. And that is going to cost more in London and Paris than anywhere else in the world.
